Protests following the killing of George Floyd

There was none of that from the cop on Chris Hayes show. I also don’t think you’re getting my point about the dangers of giving a platform to cops.
I said the last few days bud. He’s been on tv a few times.

And I don’t think you’re getting my point either. There’s nothing wrong with showing that there are police leaders out there who support change.

A friend of mine in Atlanta said the same last night, he was really on edge. Stay safe!

Cheers, will do! I live above a liquor store and the guy who runs it was closing up early when he said I should be vigilant in case anyone started a fire in the store, with all the alcohol in there. I think he was (mostly) joking!

I think you should take it seriously otherwise Guy Fawkes would have been a picnic compared to what may happen.

It is literally PR and nothing else. We are witnessing police brutality in real time. I’d rather they have someone on who is an expert on human rights violations. Because that is the conversation we should be having right now.

That does sound potentially dangerous. From what I've see the looting was high value targets though, so not sure a liquor store would necessarily be at the center of attention for either enraged kids or professional criminals, but I wouldn't want to take any chances :/.

Showing his real face there.

In terms of tangible goals it is suprising to me that no one has asked for the resignation of the police chief in Minnesota or any sort of management. At the very least that would be a step towards actions having consequences.

The guy that immediately fired the 4 officers and then went to the site of the murder, prayed with protestors, and spoke to Floyd’s family?

I dunno dude. Maybe they had knives that they were planning on throwing at cops. Looks like they have it under control and know what they’re doing.
