We should have easily won this game. We played good the first half and started playing again after the 3-0. But too many mistakes: keeper poor, Martinez not good, Antony very poor, Garnacho didn’t do a lot when he came in.

Shame to lose especially with how that fourth went in.

We looked good in parts but in particular when we had what I’d say is our best front 6 on. On the road to a top team and thought we were the better team overall which is positive.

We will lack players who can score. 2 of our goals were from mistakes and a third from a corner. With how we moved the ball we really should be scoring more in pure open play.

Fix LWB and get a proper striker and I think we could look pretty good.

A game of 7 goals and not one of them was any good. Extraordinarily display of goalkeeping, we lost because their keeper was just slightly less hilarious than ours.

I found the whole thing funny, not really bothered about being knocked out tbh

We played the better football overall with a slightly rotated team too. Should’ve won and can see a lot of positives. Encouraging but a few concerns still. Martinez needs to sort his head out…looks so good then so weak.

We lost, but whatever

I liked what I saw. Good control first half, and great control and passion second half. I think they were quite fortunate to win the match tbh.

I think Amorim will be mostly happy with the peeformance

I'm not upset, that was actually super encouraging.

Neither Zirkzee or Rasmus are good enough, but as of now Zirkzee should start in the big games and Rasmus the smaller games. We need a complete centre forward. Dalot improved but overall poor and Martinez had a terrible game including a disastrous 10 minutes in the second half. Bruno was very wasteful too in the first half, we should have scored.

We are getting an idea of our best eleven. Amad was excellent again and Bruno was much better in the second half. Ugarte great and Maz too. I like the football we play and we seem to be learning more each game. The manager cannot do much about the mistakes though. We had 2.38 XG and they had 0.67.

Need a new goalkeeper, forward, full back and one more CB.

It’s clearly a foul on the keeper with the hands being stopped from going up. No way that should have stood but poor refereeing there. Any other team and that’s a foul. What about protecting the keeper!!

Our fans and manager however will not make a hue and cry about it. Should have won that game if Licha wasn’t so soft and had such a bad day.

Unfortunately Licha looks like he won’t survive the cull in the summer. I like him but his performances have been horrendous this season
It's a shame because he's so composed on the ball at times, there's things I really like about him. He makes too many errors though and is pretty weak and slow for a centre half playing at the level he is though.

Some of these players need to stop shooting from dumb angles outside the box and play it wide to the free man. But as usual the ball ends up in Row Z... really silly, repetitive stuff i've noticed alot this season.

Martinez should be no where near the starting 11, simply awful.
Too many mistakes but a decent second half papered over a lot of cracks.
It’s starting to get that way now, he’s involved in a couple of poor defensive mistakes each game which is costing us big time. Back three should be Yoro, De Ligt and Mazraoui, until Martinez shows he can cut his mistakes out.

Don't mind the loss, for long periods we played well, just falling short up top. And the chopping and changing is really giving a good sense of who's worth a spot and our first 11.

Left wing back and left sided forward needs looking at

Feels robbed but not upset. We have been the better team away at spurs(who are inconsistent) played the better football individual errors cost us but feels good bring on Bournemouth this weekend

A game of unforced errors. Pleasantly surprised by the performance overall, should’ve won that if we weren’t so brainfart prone.

Agree and Maguire as first replacement. Martinez falling down the pecking order, not having good season. But we do miss his forward passes when he's not there.

We were quite good in general play. I think every goal for both sides was some kind of clownshow individual mistake.

Not overly arsed about going out of the League Cup. Less feck ups at the weekend please.

The positive to take from this now is the beathing space we'll have in January because we dont have the 2 semi final legs on top of Premier League, FA Cup, and 2 Europa games.

What killed me about their last goal was the corner it came from was due to a crap pass from Maz, he played it along the ground instead of putting a bit of air on it when Amad was clean through on the shoulder of the last defender on the half way line (albeit it was in the wide channel as opposed to down the middle of the pitch). A brilliant chance for us turned into a corner for them by a careless pass

Antony was shite. He isn't a very good footballer. Garnacho contributed nothing. Mazraoui, Eriksen, Ugarte, Mainoo decent. Bruno brilliant and frustrating in equal measures. Amad and Zirkzee did well.

Bayindir seems worse than Onana. By a mile. Martinez was poor. Dalot works hard, does most things right but is very limited. Leny Yoro and Lindelof could've done better. Hojlund tried but was completely shut out by their defenders.

Funny game, but Amorim should've started a stronger eleven to keep the momentum from the weekend going.

Oh well, Carabao Cup...probably works out better that we will have to focus on fewer games. Time to get that Europa Leaue trophy and maybe climb to a Top 4 fight.

Bruno isn't just giving the ball away cheaply, he's doing it in areas that costs us goals.

He needs to be better

Amad MotM clearly (G+A off the bench). Bayandir a fraud, Antony had a very bad game

That was such an easy pass. He had acres of space ahead of Amad to put the ball into.

Beginning to look like a team with a plan. For large periods of the game I think we did very well.

I've been fairly comfortable with Martinez in defense, but he was ridiculously poor today. Spurs' second and third goal was just useless defending by him. Goalkeeper was an absolute clown today as well. My god.

Leny was our best defender by far. So nice to see him being a calm and composed prescence in an otherwise shaky defense. Amad is just a fantastic player as well. He's so refreshingly aggressive and optimistic.

The squad is still weak in many places, but the head coach seems to be getting the best out of what we've got. Well done, Ruben.

Played well as a team. Individual errors, and lack of quality from certain players was what did us in.

Feels like Amorim went there to give some players a run out. Antony, Ericksen, Lindelof and Beyindir.

Got what we deserved.

Lets face it, had Forster not gifted us two goals, it wouldn't have even been close.

At least now Amorim knows he has two dodgy keepers!
Bayindir gifted them 2 and Licha gifted them 1.

He's just not strong enough, he steps out off his line and doesn't give himself any room to move forward to claim the ball. He's ended up caught under it and trying to flap backwards. Even without that contact he's probably struggling to get there.

Feck it missed out on a Micky Mouse trophy. Thought we were pretty decent tbf. Both goalies stealng the show. Apart from the goals they let in Bayindir's rant which seemed to go on for ever was embarassing. Should have dealt with the situation better. I mean Lukas Bergvall isn't Haaland or Lukaku.
