I would love to read Liverpool's reply to Coutinho's email.

I think they were all bunch of speculative sources.Buyout clause or whatever, call it whatever you want. It was widely reported madrid could sign him for €60M summer 2016. Perez thought it was too much
Emm..I think they are discussing De Gea here.Where would you have played him? Not like he would take Bale's or Isco's minutes. Neither would there be room for him in your midfield 3.
Barcelona has more of a use for him. Value is subjective depending on what your team needs at the moment.

Starring Stan as Barcelona, Coutinho as Kyle and Klopp as Cartman.

Talksport have just said that Matt Le Tissier will be the smuggest person on the planet at the moment for all the crap he got off Liverpool fans for daring to criticise their precious club.A transfer request isn't worth the paper it is written on. The contract is still in place and valid until both parties agree to scrap it.
I must say that I can't help but enjoy the schadenfreude. There are of course similarities with VVD, but also great differences. Barca have acted in a much better way as they a) have submitted not one but at least two bids, something LFC failed to do with VVD. b) have been up front and open about this, unlike LFC and VVD (and it was supposedly LFC sending an email to someone by mistake that nailed them on this one).
All those ex-players who said VVD should go on strike to force a move, should be allowed to go to further his career (ie earn more money), etc etc have been conspicuous by their absence/silence over the Coutinho leaving. If they do dare comment, it is that they think he should stay and that LFC have no intention of selling blah blah blah.
As a Saints supporter I very much do hope he leaves, as it will weaken one of our rivals for the 6th-8th placed slots.
Never underestimate the power or knowledge of the collective Rado! Why is so much focus being put on the fact that he sent the request by email?
How did people think these things were done, some kind of form to be completed with HR?
I think they were under the impression Coutinho had to swoop into anfield on the back of a silver Liver bird as it sings 'You'll Never Walk Alone' pitch-perfect, he then climbs down and hands his request in on the back of Shankly's first contract with them. Why is so much focus being put on the fact that he sent the request by email?

Who the feck wants a statue of themselves to be built in Liverpool?
Vincenzo Peruggia, Bill Mason, Jesse James, Frank Abagnale Jr, Derek Smalls, Dick Turpin and David Brankle all would be proud to get a statue in Liverpool. Of course the statue would be stolen within a fortnight

Rejecting a transfer request sounds pretty funny. You can reject it, but it doesn't change the fact he still clearly wants out.
Is this definitely true? Melissa Reddy is pretty reliable for Liverpool news.
Don't worry... I'm on it.
Can't say I blame him for wanting to join Barcelona, but I think he might have to be patient.

It's Liverpool's cutting-edge ZX Spectrum telegraph service. What is that? Did Coutinho send his e-mail to the wrong address? Or maybe Liverpool blocked all emails from Coutinho as spam.
That's his problem. It's now or never.....he might be told to be patient by LFC, give another year and then he can go, etc etc, but do you think Barca will be patient? Is that a risk he is prepared to take, that they will still be interested in him in a year's time? If you were in his shoes, would you grab the opportunity now or risk it that the opportunity would still be there next year?

Edit: Never mind she put another tweet saying it is true.

Dunno, mate. They back-engineered it from a Tron vhs.First or second generation?
I want to laugh, but it won't be long till this happens to us if we don't start performing.
Although how many players do we actually have that Barca or Real would even want?
We have the ambition and the wages to keep most players happy. Even if players did want to leave, we would probably handle it with dignity. I don't remember any embarrassment over the De Gea saga. We said if he wants to go, he can go for the right price. Madrid were the ones who messed that deal up. If anyone desperately wanted out of Old Trafford, then I'm sure they'd be allowed to go. Don't think Jose wants unhappy players.I want to laugh, but it won't be long till this happens to us if we don't start performing.
