Philippe Coutinho

The player has done nothing to suggest he wants to go. Liverpool have said that he's not for sale and Barca have been told they're wasting their time even enquiring about him.
That's all according to the Liverpool Echo who have access to the club.
I don't think he'll go anywhere this summer (opinion, not ITK at all) and by all accounts coming out of the club, he's training and trying to prove his fitness for the Watford match.

Liverpool maintain Coutinho stance as he fights for fitness

Hmmm, the speculation looks like this one is done.

Is RAWK melting down yet?

They have locked all threads about transfers they don't want to happen, so they don't really have anywhere to melt down.

I thought they'd be delighted at getting £100m for Coutinho. Would make them strong favourites for their beloved net spend trophy again.

My thoughts exactly.

On a serious note though, if he does go to Barca I can see Klopp resigning.

I suppose it's a possibility if the ownership take the money as expected and you couldn't blame him really - one step forward, a few back each season is no way to build a contender but hey they are American owners. So, lesson learned, don't laugh - you lot have American owners too

I find it funny that Liverpool is probably going to lose their best player but it also underlines that there really is no club loyalty out there.

Yea, I know it's a business and they are employees and all that, but I would prefer to see footballers show some sort of appreciation for the fans.

...except they haven't.
The Coutinho thread is locked. Surprising because they are as sure about him staying as the fact that after the day will come night.

Why lock the thread then? Is it an implicit acceptance?

...except they haven't.

They opened it again?
Or was it just people on here who exaggerated about them closing all threads about transfers?
I don't read rawk...

I think people on here exaggerate a lot about RAWK for sure.

They close threads if there is nothing to discuss, or crap rumours etc
It was opened again following Melissa Reddy's comment this afternoon saying club still say he is not for sale.

The thread in the transfer section is the one I am referring to and it's open.

In other words it was closed when some said he was being sold and reopened when you had someone say what you wanted them to...

Liverpool fans are sticking firm to their confidence (hope) he doesn't go. It's like the child that refused to give up on Santa Claus not being true for just one more year.

People don't exaggerate about rawk at all. The mods are mini Hitlers and you have to be extremely careful what you say or you'll be banned. I even know Liverpool fans that hate the place.

It's digital North Korea, a propaganda machine. There's no freedom of speech there.

No smoke without Fire, I think he will leave. He was always wanted as Iniesta replacement and Barca seem to have the money to finally get one.

Get a load of this guy...I'm really enjoying this!

 Don't pretend to be naive. There's no way Barca acting so arrogantly so far, if Coutinho hasn't shown any interest for the move.

They really don't. On any other forum the potential sale of one the club's best players would be a red-hot topic, but on RAWK all such discussion is suppressed and posters are not allowed to comment to express opinions about it.

You say "if there is nothing to discuss" ... but obviously there are mountains of related issues to discuss. Will he be sold? Won't he? If he is sold who can Liverpool get to replace him? Would the reported fee be too little or a great deal? If he stays, will he cut up rough about it etc etc etc.

The RAWK mods only fall back on the "crap rumours" or "no hard news" line when they want an excuse to suppress discussion.

Well it's 3 days old so....

This is the current situation from a trusted LFC source:

A reminder of #LFC's stance on Phil Coutinho this summer: "Not for sale" "No other interpretation of that"

They are not going to say anything other than that, EVEN IF they are willing to sell. What else do you expect them to say?

If he is leaving, PR will be run as he put in transfer request in the next couple of days and such..., and will be sold.

Like people say, No smoke without fire, so its pretty sure there is some sort of negotiation going on.

The thread is open and they are discussing those things mate.
