That will happen as soon as he has more intelligent attackers like Amad around him.

Quality player you got your hands on for peanuts, because Bayern booted him due to his vocal support for Palestine, perpetuating the centuries old german tradition of being on the wrong side of history.

Their loss, your win.

I was just going to ask, what's the catch, why did Bayern let this guy go for so cheap? Does he have an undisclosed heroin addiction or run an underground prostitution ring that we don't know about?

It's because he supports Palestine?!

For that price and that quality, I'd sign the Ayatollah Khomeini!

I think Mazraoui is our most technically gifted player. No fancy tricks but his first touch is always good, his passes are at the right speed and at the position and he is able to receive the ball under pressure and not crumble when an opponents tries to take the ball off him.

I wasnt a big fan of him when he played for Ajax but he has been great for Manchester United.

He has been quite injury prone for Bayern. They also have Kimmich and Davies at their back positions. They can miss him and could use the money.

He is a proper baller. Don't think we've had that kind of technique at RB since the twins. First touch, clever flicks and even the big cross field ball. Great stuff.

Probably not fast enough to be truly great, but probably one of the few good things so far this season.

I didn’t even know that was the reason we got him. Now I just like him more.

The perfect player for Amiron. A player to build the team around. (Sounds fecking weird to the say that about a wing back).

2 footed, intelligent passer, calm in tight spaces, good athlete and surprisingly strong. He glides around the pitch from right back and makes defending look easy.

Whoever Bayern play at right back must be brilliant to let this lad go for basically nothing.

A large majority of Bayern fans were against selling him. But the hysteria in Germany was hitting its stride and politics took precedence over the club's best interests.

Anyways, fantastic FB who will thrive under Amorim and most likely become one of his essential cogs, provided he can stay fit, in my opinion.

Finally a great signing. Talented, hard working, and bought for a reasonable price. More of this please Ineos

The player in our squad with the highest football IQ. Movement, position, passing - he almost always makes the right decisions. Doesn't hurt that he's a quite good footballer to boot.

That crossfield ball he did at one point after evading some tackles

Technically superb player.

While not world class he always is solid to very good. Great signing and he will only get better with Amorim i guess.

His tackling is excellent. Every time he's dribbled at, he seems to force the player to go backwards, or he wins the ball. He also seems to do it all whilst rarely going to ground.

I've been burnt by right backs before but he's very good. I hope it continues

Too early to claim this, but he keeps this level of performance up and stays fit then he will be by far the best "value for money" signing in the post-Fergie era. Great to see we can sign good quality players for low fees rather than continually spending at least £50m on, at best, average players.

Where will Amorim play him? I think he’s a fantastic footballer who could play anywhere but he probably not high octane enough or wing back. Anyone think he could do back three pushing into midfield?

He can play Right wing Back and he’s deceptively quick could easily play right CB as well as he has pace to defend wide areas.

Definitely as a wing back

Dalot looks more athletic but Maz has more attacking intelligence to play as a wing back. He’s been a superb signing (12 million?!) who doesn’t get highlighted enough because of our other trash business.

I think some people see Wing Back = Stephan Lichtsteiner

That's not true and specially in Amorims game plan. You don't have be pure runner to play modern Wing back.

Everything he does is very assured. One of those players who you just want in your team regardless of the formation.

He's defensively very good also. Which is rare for a good attacking fullback.
