A full back who looks to overlap and naturally he's ignored every time.

Why can't they just do the fecking basics?

Not for the first game this season it was like he was playing against the opposition himself at times

That desire to win the ball at the very end sums him up really. I wish we had 4-5 similar players - technically solid, who keep it simple and are unselfish.

Our best player this season.

I wonder how he felt after each time he busted a gut to win the ball back, only for his team mates to carelessly give it away.

Has been excellent so far this season

What I love about him is that he's just a good footballer. Nowadays you have so many 'system players' but Mazraoui is someone who could play in any style because he's such a good all round player.

I wish we had more players like him whose base level technique is really high.

Been our player of the season so far. He’s so tidy on the ball, technical. Strong in defence, and a surprising turn of pace in defensive transitions.

It’s clear why Bayern bought him in. Quality player.

Him at LB, Dalot at RB is much better than the other way around.

Lovely to watch a technically elite player with a good football brain for us. Haven’t seen many of those in our teams of the last decade.

Best player this season, an absolute steal at the price as well, fan favourite for sure, we need to keep him
Fit.

Well done ETH/United you did it. You signed a player who's performing.

I wasn't lying when I said Antony's performances for Ajax were mainly down to this guy. I said this when we were being linked to Antony and got stick for it because everyone bought into Antony's hype, but Mazraoui completely dominated the right flank which gave Antony so much leeway.

This is one of the few transfers we've made this past decade where I had no concerns at all. The only surprising thing to see was that Bayern were happy to let him go.

Looked like the only competent footballer out of our XI. Also, goes to show that good players who have played for other proper clubs don't need eons to fit in.

The question mark with him is his fitness. So far so good and hopefully it remains this way. Dalot can learn a lot from him on how to play the FB position.

I think Bayern only let him go bc of the instagram posts he sent out. Otherwise they would have probably kept him.

What a player though, equally good on either side of the pitch, a beast. Glad we have him.

The sort of player who exceeds your expectations time and time again.

Seems to me, that he’s a very clever player. Knows when to do what. On top of that he has some steel. Just a very reliable player.

Love it and long may it continue.

The fact that we got him for pretty much peanuts shows that good recruitment is possible. We've just been absolutely shocking at it. With how tight funds are likely to be we need a couple more solid hits like this.

I wasn't excited about his signing initially (Because I knew very little about him) but I am so glad to have had those early doubts smashed. He is one hell of a player. Quick, good physicality, but most importantly his technical level looks above most of our other players. Really hope he can stay fit.

Mazzraoui is better than Dalot, especially on the left but I get why ETH played them as he did. Its because of the likelihood of Mazraoui to get injured, giving his record and, the disruption it would cause.
Mazraoui gets injured on left and you have to make two changes, move Dalot to the left and replace him on the right.
On the other hand, Mazraoui gets injured on right and you only need to replace him.
Hopefully he continues to stay injury free. He is absolutely fantastic.

This is why he was my favourite signing of the summer. And why I was amazed that people were scared of losing AWB to get him.

IF our winger can make more overlap with him .........but rarely happened.....
