Moussa Sissoko

An inconsistent player, I remember when one of his first few games in the PL against Chelsea, he looked like a world beater and a lot of people thought he was that good. Sissoko can look good as he can look abysmal.

He said Arsenal is the club of his dreams and his best play for club and country has been in attack, not as a CM.

This guy seems to be available this window and if we seriously go in for him, we could get him. Has been great for Newcastle and would be a great addition to our midfield.
He does his share of dirty work, but he's not really a CM.

What he's brings to midfield is what we need, and that's someone who drives with the ball. When he's in full flow, there's no one stopping him.

Is he really doing anything that Diame wasn't doing? And he's not been great at all at Hull.

He was great during the first few months for Newcastle wasn't he? I agree he is dynamic, but his form dropped massively for quite a while, not something we could afford

Good player, but inconsistent and not good enough to play for a club like United. His first touch and ball retention can leave a lot to be desired.

The closest player we have to Sissoko is probably Fellaini, and the latter has been a much better footballer during his time in England.

pace and a direct nature of his play would be welcomed with the lack of both of those in midf for the club. inconsistent? hmm , that just about names 95% of the club and the consistent one's are consistently s**te. depending on the fee i'd have him. we'll be offing anderson and the brand along with fletcher and in a 3 man midf he'd work fine.

Good player for Newcastle but he isn't a CM, he is an AM and frankly he is nowhere near good enough to play in an attacking role for us. Hopefully Arsenal spend loads on him as he may be physical but he doesn't offer that much defensively and can't play in the deep two imo. Schneiderlin is way better and would be a much more worrying purchase for Arsenal.

Was pretty decent the other night. Can definitely play the water carrier role and link things up. Needs a disciplined and positionally awareness central/defensive midfielder next to him though. In a midfield 3 he could definitely be a very hand player, strong and dynamic.

I rate him. I think he's one of those players that would up his game the bigger the challenge got. Strong, athletic players tend to do well in the modern game. I'm just not sure he's exactly what we need as our game seems to be built on retaining possession and that's not his strength.

Would likely be the Valencia of our central midfield. Athletic and hard working, but ultimately limited.

Why don't people rate him? Take him out of the Newcastle side and they'd be struggling for relegation. He's been their best player every time I watch them. I think he's better than Dembele when everyone was raving about him. He's like a lesser version of Toure but Toure wasn't near his peak when he was 24-5.

He isn't a lesser version of Yaya Touré, Touré is great technician while Sissoko is a great athlete, Sissoko is a slightly lesser Matuidi.

He seems to be doing fairly well in midfield for France which makes me think we should try and sign him to play alongside Can. He'd be better than Milner/Henderson.

Best transition player in football. He's been doing this for years.

Lets be honest, he's been better than a guy we're reportedly about to splurge £100m on.

His early games for Newcastle were great. Definatly a good addition for most clubs

Looking good. Would be a good option for Leicester if they are looking to get some depth in for the Champions League.

Let's be honest, he hasn't tried a leg for Newcastle in around 18 months, so at best you could say he struggles with motivation and, at worst, that he cheats his club side.
