He's a powerhouse whose physical attributes help disguise his glaring inadequacies. Poor touch, poor passer, poor final ball and has never scored more than 4 goals in the premier league despite over 34 games a year since 2013/14.

Pogba is sitting back more then doing what he's really good at. As for Sissoko - we can only assume at Newcastle he's not given a shite. Payet was a good punt for West Ham. Properly motivated he could be a similar good punt but would we be willing to take the risk? probably not.
Always had fantastic work rate, the biggest problem is his end product. It's basically none existent.

This isnt the Sissoko who plays for Newcastle. He isnt currently in a car boot with tape around his mouth with his strip stolen and has been since the start of this tournament.
I'd swap fellaini for him tbf.
His work rate is atrocious and he is a disgraceful professional. He also thinks he is amazing despite his whole game just being power and pace, he expects to have a free role and do whatever the feck he wants despite being nowhere good enough. Fantastic work rate and Sissoko should never be in the same sentence.
Technical ability, passing, reading of the game, work rate, and defending are all also very good qualities to have as a midfielder, of which he has none of.
He's probably playing above his level. Regardless he looks better than Pogba.
