Mo Salah

European player of the year can be won by non-europeans but thank you for the reply anywho.
The African award is probably ethnicity-oriented. The European award is location-oriented, as in you have to play in Europe.

This isn't European player of the year, it's the UEFA best player in the CL campaign of that year.

Even though that's correct, that's not strictly true.

I see, thanks.

Was just thinking, one could be African and win both awards, but you couldn't be European and win both could you?

There was actually a similar award for the best player in African CL but it was scrapped 1 or 2 years ago. You don't get European players to play in Africa to win it though anyway, the opposite actually happens.

The foreign players in African teams are usually from other African countries as well. There're very few Latins players but almost all of them are trash. :D

Nothing will be done by the refs and nothing will be said in the media.

What a cheat! For all the talent in the world he couldn't resist being a twat on the field.

Quickly turned into the biggest cheat in the league. Really poor.

It seems to have went unnoticed until recently, but twitter has really blown up over it. Mo Salah being a cheat seems to be the topic of discussion today. Glad he's finally getting the recognition for it.

I am starting to hate him and his fecking sleeves.

He deserves pricks like Ramos to treat him like a cheat.

Pathetic from him again.

He reached Neymar's level of falling and rolling on the ground with any touch. Actually, he's becoming worse because the Brazilian gets roughed much more than him.

Needs to take theatrical lessons from Ashley Young. Youngy could even teach Tom Daley a thing or two a few seasons back!

Always the victim.

--My inbox is filling up with angry emails from Liverpool fans who have taken a very dim view of the very notion that Mo Salah might have dived to try to win a penalty in the first half. I was under the mistaken impression Mamadou Sakho didn’t actually touch him, but according to some of the correspondence I’ve been receiving, he actually grappled Salah to the ground, kicked the Egyptian repeatedly in the head and then wiped his feet on his chest.

Anyway, all is well in the world of Liverpool fans again, as Salah has recovered sufficiently from this brutal assault to equalise for the Premier League leaders very early in the second half.--
