Mo Salah

Cheatling cnut again! I hope someone injures him again. Diving scum!
I'm pissed off that he's started diving but do you know what's worse than diving? Wishing injury on anyone.

Isn't in PL some special jury who can ban him for 3 games for that?
Only if he 'successfully deceives the referee'. I obviously don't want him hit with a ban but I hate diving and hate seeing our players do it. Absolutely no need for it and makes him look like a twat

He collapses when touched - so they won't accept it's outright cheating.

Which it can be.

Today wasn't great & previously when he's had them where someone put a hand on his shoulder were pathetic.

A couple have been reasonably given as penalties, imo.

Difficult. The omly real solution would be for players being honest, and that isn't occurring anytime soon.

Ban until the end of the season is the only fair thing to do imo. I reckon Van Dijk should be banned also, for reasons.

I think the joke (whether we say injury or death) is about taking a ridiculous position really, tbf.

As in say, ''I hope they blast him into space never to be seen again''

I don't know, really.

edit - Probably best avoided though, with these red hot mods on the case, :D.

Unlike a few other situations over the last few weeks, yesterday's one is an actual dive. I don't like it, and I hope next time he does that he gets booked by the ref ingame and stops this disgraceful practice. Don't want him to be banned by FA for obvious reasons.

On a separate note, those claiming he's a one-season wonder must be hiding now. He may not get 30+ goals this season but he will be up there among the top scorers.

I mean its funny, but the vast majority of those instances he's actually fouled. The one yesterday was a dive, thats about it.
Whether he’s fouled or not is debatable. Just because you feel the slightest contact doesn’t mean you have to drop like a sack of potatoes. He goes down easier than pretty much any other forward in the league.

It's quite annoying that after a series of incidents where he didn't actually dive had a frenzy driven up , he then goes and does an awful dive like that.

There was still a smidgeon of contact yesterday - does anyone expect him to cop a charge tomorrow?

As a Chelsea fan, it's very frustrating and a bit sickening to see that Salah (and KDB) never got a proper run in our team, yet garbage like Kovacic and Jorghino are getting game after game for doing next to nothing.

Whatever happened to a so called committee that looks at divers and punishes them every week? Did they all quit?

Salah should know that once you get the reputation, it just sticks. Look at Young. He dived somewhat in early years and then the reputation has stuck. Now he cant even fall for a kick without people saying he went down easily

The press like Klopp way too much. So they wouldn't ask pointed questions like "Do you condone diving from your star players?" Or something of that sort.
It will be fun to watch because he is certainly going to go ballistic.

I heard they can be found in the same office as the other committees, such as the one who gave yellow cards for "team fouls".

League goals/assists since the start of last season:

Salah - 65
Mane + Firmino - 61

Basically, the famous front three consists of Salah + two other blokes who are very good players but hardly special.

Liverpool are extremely dependent on Salah. He has played more than any other forward in the league though.

Is diving a pre-requisite of being Liverpool's star player? Salah, Suarez, Gerrard. It's like they're told to do it.

Even the ones that other are calling penalties have barely any contact. He seems to go down at the drop of a hat. Hopefully City leave him in tears like a sad little boy once again.

 How many other teams in world football have 20+ goal wide/supporting cast players? Maybe that will give us an idea of what 'special' is to you?
The best player in the front 3 always has a much higher output, I mean just compare Messi, Ronaldo, Lewa's outputs in the last few years to there's nothing amiss with Salah scoring the same amount as the two supporting players.

They both clock 20 plus a season or close to. The team is centred around getting the best out of Salah and understandably so, but mane and Firmino are good players in their own right.

Neither Mane nor Firmino are scoring 20 goals this season. Nor are they contributing many assists.

Both Martial and Rashford have contributed goals at a better rate despite playing most of the season under Jose. Go figure.

Won't compare Mane/Firmino to Sane/Sterling as they are well off the pace in terms of minutes per goal/assist.

This is what I wrote. But they are far from Salah's level and you are utterly dependent on the latter.

Glad he's started diving. Just puts more pressure on Liverpool and the ref's to not give decisions their way when he's in and around the box. They can't handle being scrutinised.

They both have 11 goals all comps, they will be there/thereabouts

Can't dispute that. As are barca on Messi. We'll have to see if the others can carry the team should Salah get injured or banned for diving:lol:.

Luis Suarez has contributed 20 goals in the league alone (15 goals and 5 assists). That's about as many as Mane and Firmino put together. Barca are dependent on Messi but maybe not to the extent to which you are on Salah. Both Mane and Firmino are really good players but should step up to add more variety to your attack. Maybe I was a bit harsh on their contributions but you should expect more from them.

Indeed. Has anyone got banned apart from Niasse (low-profile easy target to pretend the system is working)?
