Samid
He's no Bilal Ilyas Jhandir
Make an approach for him already Real you useless feckers.
Sad but true.If we bought him he'd probably play like Mkhitaryan
This. It's irrelevant whether we should've bought him or not. Under Jose Mourinho attacking players are stifled. Mkhi was poor at United but it's not a coincidence that all players with a bit flair have regressed under the management of Mourinho. Salah would've started on fire too before getting worse slowly. Liverpool are a better fit for him unfortunately. If we bought him he'd probably play like Mkhitaryan

Equalled suarez’s best goal scoring season and it’d only February!Putting up rediculous numbers , must be close to Suarez's season.
Let's not get over excited, he is a very good player but world class..Not yet...Let him show the same class for next couple of seasons and then only we'll knowEqualled suarez’s best goal scoring season and it’d only February!
Love Salah, world class player
His goals are spread out too. Unlike Messi and Ronaldo who might score a hattrick or brace often.
Since October there's only 5 games he hasn't scored in. That's 25 games.
He’s world class. He was excellent last season too.Let's not get over excited, he is a very good player but world class..Not yet...Let him show the same class for next couple of seasons and then only we'll know
Top top player, if he finishes the season strong and has a decent World Cup Madrid will go in for him very strongly.
What scares me about Salah is the fact he misses a shed load of chances as well!!!
Liverpool really did buy a gem in this lad.
After the session Madrid are having, expect big transfers going in for them this summer. Reckon they'll go for Salah, Hazard, Kane and a bunch of other players... See what sticks. Football Manager style.
You have to strike lucky and we definitely have with him. Not sure we can afford to keep striking lucky so must try to keep him.
But Salah, his family and the whole of Egypt will want to see him in the whites of Madrid sooner rather than later. I just hope the Spanish government just doesn't have enough money to buy him, Hazard, a couple of defenders and maybe a goalie.
Yeah it’s crazy, I’m pretty sure he’s like tied with Benteke for most big chances missed or might even be 1 ahead now after yesterday. Last time I checked it was 18 big chances missed, 19 after yesterday probably. Could be on 30+ goals already if he’d put half those away which is astounding. He’s been unbelievable for us, absolute bargain at £36m.
I honestly disagree about Salah wanting to go sooner rather than later. Salah was a childhood Liverpool fan and quite recently he said it’s his dream to win the Premier League with Liverpool so I think his mind is very much here at the moment and for the near future. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’ll go to Madrid eventually but I don’t see him going there this summer. There would be uproar at FSG as well if we sold him so soon after Coutinho, regardless of price. I think 2019 or 2020 are a lot more likely, especially if we don’t win anything over the next couple of years.
Nobody turns down Barca or Madrid. Nobody. If he breaks Ronaldo's 42 goals record the whole world and their sponsors will be watching the next steps.
FSG can't turn down offers of £220m+. Even this summer. Salah can't turn down Madrid regardless of his fan hood.
The focus you guys have on your stars is one of the downfalls of your club. Way too much focus is placed on the world class player you have, sometimes even two. To be really successful especially nowadays in an era of non existent quotas and financial doping is to build a whole team of stars. Whether you do it buying buying and developing, buying unseen talents, buying stars or even producing from the academy, that's what you have to do. Look at the caliber of players playing in your midfield. Do they honestly deserve to be playing with a player this good? When we had Ronnie we had Rooney, Tevez, Scholes, Carrick, Rio, Vida, Evra running around with him in the same team, you couldn't in a million years do that with the same teams some of your stars played in.Great player and another world class player that plays at Anfield.
Say what you like about our scouting, I don't remember the last time that we didn't have a genuine world class player in our ranks. Just when it looks like we've lost a bit of magic, we've got someone else that's able to step up and blossom.
Since Fowler, we've had Owen (who was brillant for us), Gerrard in his peak years and a player that most pros would have in their team, Torres, Suarez, Coutinho, Salah.
It finally looks like we're getting a decent team together as well to complement the great players that we have. Our biggest problem with most of the aforementioned players is that they carried us and we didn't have other great players alongside them. It looks like those days are over and as of next season we'll have Salah, Firmino, Mane, Keita and VVD as our spine/attackers. Another CB and a decent GK could have us fighting at the top
That's pretty much exactly what I just said. I’d never want a manager who’d referred to people as ‘faggots’ without apologising.
@squiggle Who said that?
His exchange with Gary Neville after this tweet was quite amusing (not Piers, of course).Selling Alexis to us must really have gotten to Piers. Poor guy's forgotten a decade of football .
Gary has had a few good quips on Twitter lately .I'll have to dig into thisHis exchange with Gary Neville after this tweet was quite amusing (not Piers, of course).
