If you didn't need to be careful what you say online anymore I'd be saying some pretty horrendous things.
He's the new Mike Dean. He craves any kind of spotlight.
He wasn't reffing any big match this weekend, no highlight fixture so he had to do something that will get his name talked about for the week.
It's an investment for the future for refs now. Become high-profile and you can get a talking head spot on Sky/BT when you hang up the whistle.
He's a dirty fecking cnut.
The Abu Dhabi thing needs looking into. As well as the fact he’s an out of the closet geordie, and walks round in their kits when he isn’t fecking us over.I think it’s getting to the point where refs should be switched up a lot more than they are.
Like 1-2 years in the top flight and then not allowed back in, regardless of how good/bad or controversial they are.
Refs like Oliver who have been in the epl for years making dodgy decisions constantly, it can’t go on. It really is looking like they are on the take or match fixing, betting on games etc
They should have the balls though, as overturning it is already an admission they've missed a potential. Sticking with their original shows they back themselves.Cant even really blame the referee for not overruling the VAR that overrules him. I think i have only seen a referee walk to the screen and not give the penalty after review once. Oliver is also one of the highest rated English referees so no way the on field referee would be brave enough (and risk not getting matches in the future) by overruling Oliver.
Hes far worse.
This weekend last year he gave the penalty to city for the hojlund thing. From var
Hes the only man in the world who thought that was a penalty and didn't see the handball. Its cheating and we all know why he's cheating.
Its a truly pathetic league, rotten to the core by money.
We wontSomeone please let me know if we kick up any sort of fuss in the post match interviews. It’s well overdue.
Not the first one like this either. Clattenburg was always on a mission to punish us post Fergie. The Abu Dhabi thing needs looking into. As well as the fact he’s an out of the closet geordie, and walks round in their kits when he isn’t fecking us over.
It was televised in multiple countries and watched by millions. If that game was televised, I don't think he'd have given that as a penalty. The commentators would call it out as a bizarre decision.
This is spot on. It should be stickied.Hes far worse.

Disagree, he is not incompetent, he knows what's he's doing, last year Doku karate kicks Macalister and didn't give a peno, here Ings goes into De Ligt and falls over and Oliver calls the ref to the screen, he made the decision consciouslyI'm not sure if he's actually biased against us but he's utterly incompetent and has the main character syndrome, which is pretty much the worst combination that I can imagine in a referee. He's genuinely the worst referee that I've seen in my life following football, he doesn't just make mistakes, he actively seeks out controversial decisions.
Do you think the commentators opinions on the likes of NBC Sports carry as much weight as the English Premier League broadcasters? I've seen managers in press conferences being quizzed on Gary Neville's comments, but I've never seen them being quizzed on the views of Tim Howard. It was televised in multiple countries and watched by millions.
I genuinely don’t believe this is just because he’s a bitter Geordie. He’s on the payroll of UAE, we know that for a fact and I would bet my fecking house that he’s rewarded handsomely every time he fecks us over.
I don't see how this argument proves his competence to be honest.Disagree, he is not incompetent, he knows what's he's doing, last year Doku karate kicks Macalister and didn't give a peno, here Ings goes into De Ligt and falls over and Oliver calls the ref to the screen, he made the decision consciously
Been saying that for years and they never do. Take the fecking hit and get into them.I hope someone, either player or manager, takes the fine or ban and just calls out this pos for what he is.

THe suggestion he can get away with something dodgy cos it's not live in the UK is daft cos it'll be analysed to death anyway and be commented on by Neville and many others besides.Do you think the commentators opinions on the likes of NBC Sports carry as much weight as the English Premier League broadcasters?
