Michael Oliver

This explains a lot. If he has even 50% of Alan Shearers apparent hatred of United then his regular decisions against us become more understandable.

Alan Shearer doesnt hate United, Alan Shearer was all but a United player but for Jack Walker.

What Alan Shearer is, is a fecking liar as he wont say it publically, but everyone else who was dealing with the potential transfer at the time has.

An Ex ref called him our most promising ref.
This country is in trouble.

I’m guessing you’ve you’ve not seen any of his comments on Match of the day regarding United over the years?

Bottles another early decision. Expect him to make a ridiculous call late in the game so he can be the centre of attention.

I honestly don’t know why but this is one of few officials who constantly creates controversy whenever he’s involved.

He isn’t biased but Michael Oliver just referees one piss poor game of football

the "challenge" from Adam on Morgan was a minimum yellow, though had he injured him I would let him off, challenge on Nacho I thought was a good tackle until I saw the replay so he would have needed help from Assistant there

Right in front of him too, terrible referee. Charlie Adam being a thug as usual.

He's been so far out of his depth since he began in the premier league. It's astonishing.

The fact that on a weekend in which Chelsea are playing United and city are playing Arsenal this guy is doing Stoke vs Leicester is I think a clear sign that he has now fallen back in the Ref rankings. Till last season he would definitely have been doing one of the big games

He's got the most punchable face in the whole of universe.

And there City kicks at the Chelsea player's feet stopping a counter attack; they double up on the players and Oliver pulls the game back. It's exactly why I created the thread about refereeing against high pressing teams - they stop so many counter attacks with small fouls, and it's incredibly cynical.

Typical Micheal Oliver game, starts the game off calling soft fouls, then let's obvious yellows go to 'make the game flow'. Willian and Hazard taken out for clear yellow card offences and nothing done. Zinchenko foul was a borderline red as well.

No yellow cards in the Merseyside derby today and constantly played the peacekeeper and avoided controversy.

Now watch him send Pogba off for farting in the FA Cup semi he will inevitably get given.

I think he can scrap Italy from his countries to visit.

Buffon did a Di Maria. At least the cnut has shown some consistency.

Bit soft but not the worst call I've seen.

He still has one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.
