In my opinion he's a bit lightweight and I have doubt whether he can play in the 4-4-2 system expecially in the EPL, where football is more physical. However the boy's got talent and a great eye to goal. At this point in time Id rather have him then Sneijder to be honest.

He's doing very well in Italy though and had been doing that for quite some time now. The boy has talent and an eye to goal (even against big sides). He's a lighter version of Paul Scholes (although there's still some way to go to reach Scholesky's level)

Scholes 182 appearances 48 goals, Hamsik 190 appearances 54 goals, taken from the same time period of Scholes career and Hamsik still hasn't finished his fifth season yet.

Ive told you that he reminded me of a young Paul Scholes and not that he's good as Paul Scholes. Hamsik's record is amazing considering that he's playing with a relatively small side and in a league that's pretty defensive minded.

What consistently playing throughout season, and for the first 3 seasons he was practically their entire midfield in both attacking and defence to then being moved out into a left wing position that didn't play to his abilities and has formed one of the most potent attacks in europe with lavezzi and cavani and then scored the goal to knock out city. People overlooking this guy are making a huge mistake. All done in a team that didn't feature the likes of Ryan Giggs, Keane, Cantona and Beckham alongside him.

no i missed a one out. my keyboard. in fact i missed out a one and a whole season of appearances. 182 appearances 48 goals.

Sometimes. His most recent was rather embarrasing. His firs 2 seasons he scored and some gave cracking assists form freekicks.
Gambs, do you really think Hamsik is the answer to our current MF problems ? Would love to have him have a go but the talking point really is about the money isn't it...
I rate Hamsik a lot more than Ando... Not that I don't love our Chubby Brazillian bloke but I do think Hamsik knows where the goal is where as I have stopped having faith for Anderson scoring crackers like Scholes.

I think the Cleverley Anderson combo is the answer but I do believe we could bring in Hamsik and slot in him into the team easily and he's do a job straight away.
We'll never get him at this rate. I blame the Glazers!!!
