Was expecting a bit more from him throughout the game, to be fair there's only Amad in attack battling and playing well.
I really look forward to not having to watch him in a United shirt one day.
I dislike him almost to the point of hating him and I can't put my finger on why exactly, but I just get angry whenever I watch him play.

Been terrible all season, here comes the new manager and he scores and then drops a stinker but would keep his place because of the goal. Amazing how he keeps on doing this.
Shite, but worryingly still showed more than Zirkzee and Hojlund.
Outside of his goal I thought it was basically non existent, some of his one touch play was poor, pressing was inconsistent, didn’t battle for possession and wasn’t much of an outlet.

I'd still stick with him as the striker for the time being, not because he was particularly great but because Zirkzee and Hojlund aren't really showing a lot either.
Unfortunately those two are miles off it.
Dreadful today but I can guarantee Hojlund wouldn't have been on the end of that cross from Amad. Probably still a better option than him, but it just highlights how badly we need a number 9.
I can't wait to see the back of him and am a big critic of his, but do you really think Hojlund or Zirkzee deserve the place over him, based on what they've shown?

Had a whole week rest but still can’t be arsed to run much, really frustrating to see him not putting any efforts of winning the ball when the ball is literally 1-2 yards away from him. All he does is the occasional press from the front.
He has clearly lost a lot of pace. For the chance Garnacho fluffed, their CB (O’Shea) outpaced him over 30 metres.
Unfortunately, his pace was his main asset. He’s average to poor in most other aspects, thus rendering him practical useless.

I think someone mentioned it earlier - he lost a foot race with one of the slowest CM’s you’ll see in Morsy. It’s undeniable he has lost some pace.

They are both complete passengers now when only a few years ago were dangerous players.
There is no way two players can drop that far off without a physical problem.
Rashford has always been limited technically but he had freakish speed and power. He was able to beat players and finish well. Martial used to be able to change speeds and directions to devastating effect with the ball glued to his foot. Now he only has his technique to fall back on. That's why he's playing in Greece.
It's a shame. Rashford still has moments but he's lost explosiveness and can't adapt.

Only time he’ll ever be the answer as a 9 is against teams who play a high line, and even then he doesn’t appear to be as quick anymore.

Said last year he’d lost of some pace and explosiveness, it was very apparent today and he’s someone who was very reliant on those attributes. I don’t know who would buy him in the summer but it is time to move on.

How can he be so physically shot at 27? All that speed and power he used to have, and that were such a key part of his game, has just gone. He couldn’t even win foot races against centre backs and midfielders today. Sadly I don’t think he has the technical ability to compensate for it either. It’s truly baffling.

How is it possible his pace has declined so much?? This was once one of the most electric players in the league in transition. He hasn't just lost one yard of pace, it looks like he's running in mud! The one time he latched onto a longball ball I thought he'd isolate the defender and go at him, instead immediately showed him far too much of the ball and had it poked away. Painful.

Apart from a purple patch of goals in Ten Hag's first season he's been on a general decline for the last 4 years. I said at the end of Ole that United won't win anything big with Rashford in the starting line up. We fast tracked him into stardom because he's a United product when in reality he was only ever good enough to be a squad player in a title challenging team. Now we are stuck with a player who has the ability and workrate of a mid/lower table team starter but on the wages of a ballon dor contender.
