Going to be almost impossible to shift - he won’t go anywhere for a big salary reduction. Just can’t see it.

Unfair to put this on Amorim - let Ineos deal this one out. A mess. Again.

Arsenal fans seem to be equally sick to the bollocks of Martinelli, so they'd probably like a different type of player like Rashford to come in in January, and if he had a 4 or 5 month "bounce", it could help kickstart their title campaign because it needs something different. They won't win the league with set pieces alone!

The guy is clearly miserable here. Ultimately, I only want players in the squad who actually want to be here.

Developments in recent days suggest that INEOS are fully backing Amorin. Ashworth out the door and now a lot of noise on Rashford being available for transfer. I don't hate it.

He’s clearly too good for West Ham, it’s ridiculous to suggest otherwise. There are only 6 or 7 players that have scored more Premier League goals for us than Rashford. You don’t do that by having the odd good season, he’s been with us for ages but he’s also played well during that time for the majority. McTominay is another very good player that most on here laughably didn’t rate, he’s now performing for a team chasing league titles whilst we can’t get in the top 10.

Rashford is ranked at 8th, Martial is ranked at 10th, they both have the same average goal per match, 0,3.

I have to say that I think INEOS / United know the situation with Rashford. No clubs will take that wage on. So I very much think that they and Amorim know they have to work with him to get what they can out of him. So i think all this is paper talk to kick him / United when they are down.

He has been disappointing of late yes, but honestly, there are other players that are more problematic at United. At least Rashford has a good injury record. Shaw and Mount have hardly been fit for the last month and they too are on big long term contracts.

Hmmm .... I'm ok whatever happens, its a shame though. If he has just given up the fight, whether for mental issues or otherwise..... he will just be proving everyone of the boo boys right, at least go out fighting. I'm not talking about people who wanted him to turn it around but eventually gave up on him. Being clear as nuance seems to be hard to grasp in here....
I am one of those who has given up on him since last year, I thought his 30G/A in 2022/2023 was a turning point and he'll just explode and start tearing teams apart, then last season happened.

I want him gone and hopefully the club can find a buyer for him, as I don't think Amorim will tolarate it.

He has been shocking for 3 out of the last 4 seasons, is our highest paid player and is playing like he'd rather be anywhere but on the pitch.

Any club even attempting to be serious moves such a player on as a priority. Even if it means paying him off or subsidizing wages.

We could cover 2/3rd of his wages, get a small transfer feee and free up a space in the squad.

This is another issue at United. Nearly every one of our duds is protected by the the “hes not the biggest problem” blanket.

If we only got rid of the crocks we’d be left with a wonderful team which is … exactly the one that’s got us in this mess to begin with. Unless our injured players have been the ones putting on shambolic displays every week.

Has he been shocking this season or have you just convinced yourself of that? He has 10GA in 1400 minutes, which is on pace for a 30GA season. He’s also created several good chances, which others have missed, and has regularly made excellent runs which would have seen him in on goal if the pass had been made. In a decent team he’d be on 15-20GA playing exactly the same way.

Added to that, he’s so far been played in 4 different positions I think, one of which is completely new to him. He’s been available for every match and, frankly, has been treated fairly bizarrely by both permanent managers.

In no way shape or form has he been “shocking” this season. He’s been one of our better players in a terrible season.

He wasn’t, as the system doesn’t work with one of the wide forwards (AMs) slacking with pressing and defensively. Our squad is not strong enough to carry even one slacker - it just doesn’t work

Yeah mate we are just "obsessed" with our supposed star player, it has nothing to do with him being a genuine below average player for 2 seasons now. These stats just must come from people who "hate" Rashford too! Unreal! Remember all those goals he's scored for us 5 years ago? How could people want him gone?

His clearance stats are only that high because of how much his first touch has regressed

Arsenal isn't the worst shout of the clubs around that could afford him. I could see him being more likely to take a bit of a pay cut to stay in England and compete for the PL and Arsenal have a recent history of buying underachieving PL players for a discount.

I don't think we'll see him go anywhere, no one will offer anywhere near what he's on now. Ideally it would be good to sell him but that new contract we've offered him has made it difficult to get rid of him. He'll probably just see out his contract with us.

Tough part is Martinelli works his balls off and is still rapid as feck. Rashford probably adds a better pure finishing threat but isn't as quick now and we all know how he feels about OOP work.

I think his best chance is getting a move to France or Italy. Maybe Bayern since they hate Sane currently, but I don't think he fits at any big club in the PL apart from that potential Arsenal fit.

I think abroad and out of the limelight is the best move for him. He clearly isn’t happy and isn’t performing and needs a change of landscape to focus on football again.

I think a loan to Serie A would be ideal. A chance to find form and restart his career, and for United, a chance to get him away from the rest of the squad.

As the highest earner, and a key figure in the dressing room, it can’t be good having that atmosphere in the dressing room.

He needs to go. We need to do coaches the favour of not having him as an option.

I'm just tired of seeing him on the pitch, there was a stretch in the first half where every touch of his led to us losing the ball, something silly like 5 times in a row

As soon as him and Zirkzee went off we were a million times better, that says it all I think.

His poor form isn't the only issue I have with him; over the past two years or so, he has been losing every duel.
