Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
Good. It ll mean he will lose his job faster. If this is true then i do not trust ETH`s judgement at all.
He will probably play Casemiro instead of him in spite now the bald madman.

ETH has proven to be poor at evaluating talent and recruitment. I’ll put my faith in Wilcox, Ashworth, etc. over ETH.In my view it’s providing more excuses when ETH doesn’t perform, and we will be back at square one next Summer having to replace players ETH never wanted with better players to help the coach.
He is on his chance. Bad start to the season and he is gone in a couple of months. So we don’t need to worry about him complaining next summer. In my view it’s providing more excuses when ETH doesn’t perform, and we will be back at square one next Summer having to replace players ETH never wanted with better players to help the coach.
Absolutely agree. Ten Hag already wrongly went for less physical players for the premier league. I can see ineos have identified that physicality and intensity is something that is missing (not so hard to do that since Rangnick even spoke about it publicly).ETH can't evaluate talent. It's not a knock on him per se, it just shows how bad we've needed an actual structure to override him when necessary, if you needed any further examples then a signing like Antony.
Ugarte is no Rodri, but he's miles better than McT and a very clear upgrade and raisisng the talent bar of the squad.
You've spent big money nearly every summer for the last 10 yearsI used to think exactly like this too. Until our spending seems severely hamstrung by high-profile, high-cost mistakes like Antony, Sancho and to a certain extent, Maguire, it all becomes relevant.
Ultimately it was just a one off game where PSG as a whole were terrible. There were many good players on that team who also performed poorly. This doesn't fill me with much confidence.
He does seem to be pretty bad at those things. Absolute mystery we gave him a big say in transfers here. Leave the talent identification to the people who have it as their specialty and work with it full time. This isn’t a new thing with ETH either, Ajax fans told us all he was kept the hell away from transfers as he was shite at identifying players, that was Overmars’s responsibility. They struck up a pretty good partnership as well with Overmars bringing in the talent and ETH being left to coach the team. That was until Overmars exposed himself to be a Wrong’un.
The source is highly suspect but none of that sounds far fetched at all.Wow I can't believe such BS is posted here with all due respect to OP
I think there's some dodgy goings on going on around the Neves deal. I don't see why, when the going rate for a Benfica starlet is Joao Felix/Enzo money, they'd suddenly settle for half that. He'll be an instant crowd favourite because of his playstyle. Not exactly the profile I would have went for but we don't seem to have any interest in controlling games so might as well go full Bielsa-ball.
PSG definitely 'won' by moving Ugarte and bringing in Neves for €10m on top, but I still think it's a decent enough signing for us.
Yep. That game shouldn't worry youUltimately it was just a one off game where PSG as a whole were terrible. There were many good players on that team who also performed poorly.
Why? Cause a player isn’t allowed to have a bad game?
No white text?Weird how people are dismissing the Muppetiers info. Sounds very believable to me.
I remember he got a lot of stuff right recently too which is why I'm surprised so many are dismissing it as rubbish. I fully believe the McTominay part whether that's just a guess or actual infoWeird how people are dismissing the Muppetiers info. Sounds very believable to me.
That could literally be said for every player coming into the league.I think the PL will be a big step up for him, whatever way you look at it. Looking like a monster DM in France is different to looking one against Premier League sides.
If EtH doesn’t perform this season he won’t be here for the next one.In my view it’s providing more excuses when ETH doesn’t perform, and we will be back at square one next Summer having to replace players ETH never wanted with better players to help the coach.
If the source is suspect then info is suspect, and I won't react to it.The source is highly suspect but none of that sounds far fetched at all.
Nope.No white text?
People are so cynical.I remember he got a lot of stuff right recently too which is why I'm surprised so many are dismissing it as rubbish. I fully believe the McTominay part whether that's just a guess or actual info
That does sound believable. ETH wanted a box to box like Mount or Frenkie, he never targeted a player like Ugarte's profile. This looks like an INEOS club signing, with a view towards the next manager. No white text?
Yes, however remember Woodward? OK PSG how about €70,000,000?€10M. We offered €35M they wanted €60. Compromised at €50. Overpaid €5M.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Benfica have a cushy little above market rate sponsorship deal with a Qatari company that doesn't currently exist by this time next year.
I suspect he’s kept himself fit. Uruguay have a game Sept 2nd and I imagine he will want to be in the squad.Absolutely agree. Ten Hag already wrongly went for less physical players for the premier league. I can see ineos have identified that physicality and intensity is something that is missing (not so hard to do that since Rangnick even spoke about it publicly).
I like this transfer and what it represents. Whether that would be a success time will tells. Hope that he will play him, especially (assuming he is match fit) with Liverpool.
I don’t belive this nonsense with not ready. He did play Antony straight.
That might be the funniest video I’ve ever seen on the caf. Just shows how anything a new signing does can be painted as a positive.Thats....erm....basic stuff??
2024 Renato Sanches isn't close to enough to fill the ~60m gap between what they sold Neves for, and the price you'd expect given the Enzo Fernandez deal, and the links to basically every big club in Europe.People are forgetting to include Sanches in the price for Neves who went the other way back to Benfica.
If we get stuffed on Sunday (0 2 or worse) at home against Liverpool I have a feeling Sir Jim will snap and we could have Mr G Southgate in quicker than you can say, “careful what you fecking wish for”.He is on his chance. Bad start to the season and he is gone in a couple of months. So we don’t need to worry about him complaining next summer.
What about it is believable?Weird how people are dismissing the Muppetiers info. Sounds very believable to me.
Are you suggesting these 2 are similar types? That does sound believable. ETH wanted a box to box like Mount or Frenkie, he never targeted a player like Ugarte's profile. This looks like an INEOS club signing, with a view towards the next manager.
It’s hilarious that I’ve seen some of the posters falling for that nonsense are the same ones that are highly sceptical of actual journalists. What about it is believable?
Southgate has already got a new job.If we get stuffed on Sunday (0 2 or worse) at home against Liverpool I have a feeling Sir Jim will snap and we could have Mr G Southgate in quicker than you can say, “careful what you fecking wish for”.
I’m praying Utd win and win comfortably but I have this horrible feeling.
Ten hag typesAre you suggesting these 2 are similar types?
