Ugarte is not enough. We need 2 players .. We cant go into the season with 3 players for 2 positions
I wonder if we’re trying to shift some wages before getting Rabiot in as well. Must be a reason he hasn’t signed for anyone yetUgarte is not enough. We need 2 players .. We cant go into the season with 3 players for 2 positions
Big time.Very much need his profile in the XI
The midfield is far too easy to slice through as constructed

Scholes was right on the overlap, we need a midfielder who controls the pace of games with intelligent play. Ugarte helps defensively but we also need another different midfield profile desperately.
Another prime example of it todayYes. The manager knows best.
Would love to look into Andre from Fluminense if we do get 30m for McTom. He's been linked with us and that's apparently his asking price tooUgarte is not enough. We need 2 players .. We cant go into the season with 3 players for 2 positions
Just spam rushed attacks and hope for the best. This is true, but the reality is that Ten Hag doesn't seem to want to control games, it is all press, transition, repeat.
Yeah, we need a player who controls the tempo and shows up for the ball from central defenders.Hopefully the penny drops after today and we realize that we need a controller in the midfield of the park rather than an all-action ball chaser.
Our manager spent too much time focussing on right backs and multiple CBs when central midfield was the key issue. We’ve signed none and we have what, a week left in the window?Ugarte is not enough. We need 2 players .. We cant go into the season with 3 players for 2 positions
Get him. Casemiro has no legs left.
Are you not watching these guys press their butts off? EtH has never had issues with motivation on a wide scale. My feeling is that it doesnt matter who we sign, the manager isnt motivating the players he has to be the best they can be.
Pretty much. This team is setup to be dependent on turnover ball.If we rely on Casemiro this season again we will be fecked.
Just give PSG what they want, get it done.
Ten Hag is the first manager since Ferguson's retirement to actually retain the faith of the players during a sustained period of bad performances. There were clear points during the tenure of Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and Solksjaer when our players clearly gave up.Are you not watching these guys press their butts off? Rabiot?I feel Ugarte will not be enough. We need another midfielder besides him.

Rabiot?
Yeah I was thinking this. Happened all last season and we have seen it happen again in each the opening 3 matches. I’m including the city one.Very much need his profile in the XI

If he and Ugarte came together next week I would take that. I’d then say the defence and midfield are pretty much there (left back aside). Goalscoring is still a big problem in my opinion.Rabiot?
Zubimendi didn't want to leave. No dice.We needed Zubimendi and Ugarte
No one can squabble on the €60m fee after that 2nd half. We need him in vs Liverpool
Stop fecking haggling over £6-7m and get him the feck in. Can’t watch another 90 mins of a “resurgent” Casemeiro.

He's proven lack of effort won't be his undoing. We might lose, but not because of that.Ten Hag is the first manager since Ferguson's retirement to actually retain the faith of the players during a sustained period of bad performances. Even at our worst last season, there was no lack of effort on the pitch. It's a definite positive of Ten Hags that he can keep his players on his side. But eventually even that will stop if the results don't come.
