Trossard give him some problems with his movement but very good 1 v 1. Bit twitchy on his passes, but expecting a lot from this kid.

Decent debut. A bit out of position and unaware of runners behind him from time to time but also some good tackles in the box.

It's good that he's at least got his league debut against one of the best teams in the league.

Acquitted himself well, looking forward to seeing a full 90 from him.

I thought he looked very good. Managed the one on ones well & put in some great tackles. Trossard really got nothing out of him.

He got minutes which is great , he will probably get 20-30 mins at the weekend hopefully

Looked good especially considering he's just returned from injury. One of the few highlights of tonight's game.

Our defence is actually starting to look solid/promising. If only our attackers could play football...

Happy to see him back, but let’s not rush him, just let him have a few cameos for now to get his fitness up slowly.

Did well when he came on, classy player already at such a young age.

Good and promising cameo, especially considering that he's 19 making his debut at Arsenal while we're really struggling in the game. Hopefully we have quality CBs in the long run with Yoro and de Ligt.

Sometimes football can be as simple as signing the best young talent that meets the the base physical requirements for that role

A young tall CB that’s pacy, really good on the ball and can defend.

Go figure

Maybe for our next trick we sign a pacy wide forward that can dribble and score or create chances.

Then we go for the unicorn. A tall two footed DM that’s very comfortable on the ball and defensively sound. Bonus if his passing range opens up the pitch

Looked decent nothing more. Expected as he's a teenage CB coming back from injury against one of the best teams in the world. The talent is obvious though, his tackling is AWB-esque.

Promising start looking forward to seeing a lot of him

Was brilliant when he came on. His timing of the tackles was excellent.

He looked better than decent. One misplaced clearance, other than that he made some great blocks and timed his tackles to perfection. A very encouraging debut.

I know he hasn't shown the goals or assists yet, but I'd love us to go for Dibling.

Thought he was great. Being thrown in when we were losing and on the back foot is not an easy task to make your debut. Very composed and was nice to see some speed in our defence. Think he will become a fan favourite, I've got really high hopes for him.

Is his short cameo it was easy to see why hes so highly rated. He looks to have the potential to be the next Rio. Fast, calm, good tackler, good on the ball. Excited to see more.

Man Utd 2:3 Nottingham Forest New
Thought he looked very unsharp out there. Beaten in just about every key situation. Worrying.

I dont think it is worrying for a very young player who basically made his debut after an injury. Part of his development and also part of returning from injury.

I never understood why there was so much hype for his comeback. A. CB won't fix us. A young CB is always expected to struggle first.

Good to have him back but seems a bit wild move to throw him in so quickly tbf.

Yeah one moment stood out in the second half where the Forest player beat him by simply jogging in one direction with the ball. Still, for obvious reasons, there’s not too much point reading into it. At least, he wasn’t as absolutely rancid as Martinez.

He's ready and eager to play. It's best perhaps to give him this baptism of fire early and then ease him into the team by playing him off the bench. The experience will do him a world of good

Deer in headlights moment. They targeted him for the press.

Struggled with the intensity bit, and didn't seem to want to be anywhere near the ball. Probably just needs time. His defensive partners weren't much better though.

He has to show more confidence on the ball though.

He was alright, but coming to this team with little training is also not ideal.

Saw a couple where he thought of playing a more ambitious pass, but then stopped and played a safer pass as he was hesitating.

That moment with Bruno was also saying case of lack of cohesion.

Is experience doing Hojlund a ton of good? Asking because he's also very young and playing a lot.

He’s going to need time to get fit and to adjust to the league. Didn’t play well but not easy for a young when the keeper and other two CB’s were all over the shop.

No teenage CB has ever looked super comfortable at this level of football apart from Varane maybe and he was a generational player. He shouldn't be starting games and needs to be phased in slowly.
