Jeremy Corbyn - Not Not Labour Party(?), not a Communist (BBC)

The Ilhan Omar spectacle actually ending up backfiring massively though as it rallied her local base and ultimately pushed the Democrats to circle their wagons around her. Plus the amount of traction it gained on the right was more of a product of their penchant for Islamophobia than people actually internalising this false notion that the left is inherently anti-semitic all of a sudden.

She would not have lost any votes for Sanders. The Islamaphobics were never going to vote for him anyways.

"It's pronounced 'Fronkensteen..."

Bit confused I didn’t realise there was a Jewish way to pronounce Epstein. Thought it was more dependent on one being German and the other being more Russian.

For an English or American person, you’d always pronounce it “steen”. Like Brian Epstein, the Beatles’ manager. None of this is relevant to Corbyn’s views on anti-semitism but it is a bit surprising he pronounced his name like a Bavarian beer glass.

Funny you bring that up because the Beatles pronounced Epstein closer to the way Corbyn did than the way you do.

Fair enough, Corbyn’s from that generation and from a small town. I went to school in Manchester with a lot of Jewish kids. Although it doesn’t explain the “st” becoming the German “sht”.

This is absolute madness. A lot of otherwise smart people as well. It'd be laughable if it wasn't painfully frustrating.

I wish we could just split the country in two at this point and let them have what they want, and give us a chance of something better. I wonder how many would change their mind when they realised they wouldn't be sticking it to everyone else.

Rachel Riley's rapid descent into a frothing Corbynphobic nutcase has definitely been one of the weirdest features of modern British political discourse in recent times. Like I fully accept and appreciate the inevitable existence of an anti-Corbyn lobby, especially amongst Zionists but I find the levels some people have taken it to utterly mind boggling.

It all gets weirder. You photoshop that picture.

And....

Genuinely thought the Rabbi was being facetious.
This is beyond parody.

As for Rachel, she’s been a nutcase on twitter for years, her anti-blackness has shown up on many occasions too.

Also, for good measure there’s an account called ‘Red Tory’ offering to sell these t-shirts - the same Party that put up posters saying ‘hang Nelson Mandela’ and an MP offering to shoot him. Nice.
