Report the posts, state your reasoning and it will be dealt with according to the rules of the forum. There have been plenty of bans or thread bans here, more than in the Ukraine thread.
Aren't the mods reading the same as we are?

If the mods decide to just rely on their personal judgement, 90% of the caf would be banned. If you report it, it makes things more objective.

It's hard to report a post and give a reason when the issue is a pattern.

Just report the posts. In the past I've reported posts that the mods missed. They are not 24/7 here. It helps out along with explaining your reasoning for the report.

I assume this thread is under a more powerful microscope than most threads given the sensitivity of the issue. If after months of this behaviour by giggsypo the mods haven't seen any problems, I suspect reporting these posts will be a waste of time.

I'll keep giving you the same answer. Report it, don't go by assumptions. We have a thread in the mods/scout forum where we discuss these matters and sometimes the mods are unaware. It's important when you report a post or series of posts that you state your reasoning to which thread guidelines were broken. Everytime I did so, the mods acted. Providing you use the report function and state your reasoning adequately.

You can literally write that in the report.

Fair enough. I'll be honest in 20 years I've never reported a post so I'm totally ignorant about its ins and outs.

I rarely report posts also. But everytime I did, mods acted. Out of curiosity, I think the posts I've reported were all from this thread. Posts from Owlo, gfactor86 and dumbstar

Israel’s Flag Day.. lots of the usual abuse, threats and chants for death to Arabs apparently. What struck me from the photo on this tweet is the age of the cowardly mob around the journalist. In some situations/countries, you think the younger generation may change a way a nation feels positively. This looks the opposite (which I’ve seen lots of examples of) which is worrying.

If this was Tommy Robinson and his morons, UK press would wet themselves with the opportunity to report on it ad infinitum. Not this though…

Israel strikes a Hamas terrorist compound inside a UNRWA school.

Unbelievable. You do realise you are just posting propaganda and lies spread to justify what they are also saying out loud . . ..

Hence why they want to class UNWRA as a terrorist organisation so they can bomb them and not have to make excuses or apologise for it. I mean, it's not like they do anyway.

How you can parrot this and repeat and defend all this despite it being debunked time and time and time again by numerous sources despite no Press being legally allowed in is beyond me.

This is why nobody takes you seriously and feels you are just here trolling. Myself included tbh, hence why I'm just.not going to bother replying anymore and hoping everyone else does the same.

See the issue is they’ve said this type of thing before (and loads of other claims) and almost all of them have proven to be propaganda, lies or just complete made up bollocks, sometimes all three. So it’s not like you’ve got an excuse of just being naive and it’s the first time.

Knowing their repeated lies, I don’t know how you can keep churning this crap out without at least some caveat/diluted wording (“possibly”, “alleged”, “reported”).

But above all, it’s the seriousness of the topic… the clear genocide, the sh!te they spout, so many media reporting it. I don’t know how you can post stuff like this so confidently and so blaze.

It reminds me of the t0ssers on Twitter who post “come on United, bring Mason ‘golden boy’ Greenwood home”. The difference is they’re clearly trolling for clicks… you don’t even get that on here.

(I’m not a fan of Hamas either. At all)

I can say the same about you. How can you parrot a propaganda for which Hamas would thank you? Kamenei might even give you credit on twitter. Your framework of absolutely evil oppressor and completely innocent helpless victim is laughable.

So you are suggesting that the dozens of thousands of victims aren't actually completely innocent and helpless?

So you are suggesting Hamas jihadists are not dying in this war?

I never considered them innocent or victims, so no. So are you suggesting that the dozens of thousands of noo-Hamas Jihadists that have been killed or are starving are not completely innocent and helpless?

See that is the problem mate. If you think is a genocide fine. If you think it is proven fine. I dont search and police each post with this position. But you dont have the right to claim your position is inherently true and opposite aumtomaticaly wrong.

I am glad your not fan of Hamas. Sincerely.

Do you think what Hamas did on October 7 was a genocide?

I will put aside a fact that even some civilians took part on October 7.

Of course there are thousands of innocent and helpless civilians who suffer terribly or have been killed.

Not innocent. Female Palestinians can biologically create new Palestinians, so no different to a weapons factory. Any little person who has the ability to speak is also a potential aggressor.
Won't be too long before they're referred to as Homo filistini.

Which makes you previous post particulary nasty, you know exactly what you are doing.

I sincerely dont know what you mean or what was nasty. But you folks like hyper analyze my apparent hidden motivations ad nauseam.

I don't need to hyper analyze anything, your motivations aren't hidden.

No, of course not. It’s mass murder.

Genocide is a completely different definition and ball game.

(edit. And my point wasn’t that it’s wrong (though I think it is) but that you’re regurgitating Israeli views with ZERO caveat. I love my country but I’m not blind)

Probably a bit misleading since he's plucking out the most extreme Israeli politician (who is himself a settler) and projecting it as if its Israeli policy, when in fact its apparently a fringe position in Israeli politics. Moreover, Ben Gvir probably won't remain in his current job if the government collapses.

You're underestimating how much fertile terrain the Israeli society has for his ideas.

The settlers represent 10% of the Israeli population and this percentage is bound to exponentially grow in the coming years. An ever increasing part of the Israeli youth shares Ben Gvir's ideology and votes for him. There's a notable amount of IDF commanders who are settlers and there already were 16% of them in 2014. They're not niche voters.

Thinking that the problem will go away when Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smotrich are ousted is a false assumption. In fact, you can expect an even greater shift to the far-right from the Israeli society in the coming years/decades.

@Amir or @ScholesyTheWise, feel free to correct me.

As far as I know its a minority view and there are no realistic Israeli Prime Minister contenders who could follow Netanyahu who share Ben Gvir's view. Its also worth noting that Ben Gvir is talking about permanently taking Gaza and sending the current inhabitants to other countries. Netanyahu's policy appears to be that Gazans should live in Gaza after the war with an "Israeli security envelope" around Gaza (probably closer to the pre-10.7 status quo, minus Hamas). I would be interested in knowing Amir's view as well.

As far as I know the issue is that this is a view that is shared by a minority within Likkud and the party also needs these other movements to get a large enough majority.

The concessions Likhud would have to make wouldn't be as sweeping as annexing the entire Gaza strip (imo). Also, whatever the next Israeli government is, would need to start mending fences Internationally, especially in the US followed by Europe. Any attempt to annex land in Gaza would be met with fierce protest among Israeli's biggest international allies. Either way, Bibi is likely done politically after this so I don't think Likhud will be as big a force than when he was driving their agenda.
