Hulk on the move again?

Somehow I doubt a manager would mind going to a team that has players like Hazard and Hulk in it.

True but it seems strange they're buying players without having a manager first. Maybe the manager they choose doesn't want to play Hulk and would prefer to sign Cavani or Falcao? Unless Roman's planning on getting a puppet to be the manager who does as he is told, it's stupid to sign players but not have a manager there.

As for Hulk, I've only seen him play a few times and he's never stood out, certainly not for that much money.

He's not a player I would ever want here. I'm sure he'll get them plenty of goals, which I guess is all that really matters, but any time I've seen him he just seems to only have one thing on his mind, shoot. What Robben did in the champions league final is what Hulk does every game.

In my opinion there's a good chance a manager is in the offing and is on board with the players being targetted.

I still find the concept of a player moving clubs without knowing the manager bizarre.

I'm convinced he'd be an excellent signing.

I am too. He will be excellent

Seeing as they've blatantly signed players in the past without any input from their manager at the time I don't think these latest signings are any indication that they've a manager on board.

Yep, but I doubt a new manager is hardly going to complain about having Hazard and Hulk

Every team pays over the odds for players now though, it's not just Chelsea and City, though they're the ones who started it.

Over the odds for sure, but that is still too much for Hulk. As I said, better players will go for less money this summer.

Why not?

There are better players out there. You'd think a manager taking over a club like Chelsea would have his own ideas about which striker/winger would best work in the system he wants to use.

I doubt it would stop them joining, mind you. Not when they're inevitably offered stupendous wages to take the helm.

Still, it just shows what a ridiculous circus Chelsea Football Club has become.

You could also just look it in that Abramhovic is simply buying all these players right now in order to entice managers to go there, because he obviously knows their current squad isn't good enough.

But then you think he'd just tell the manager he can have unlimited funds and to buy who he wants.

Basically yeah, a circus.

Also, as regards the manager situation, are there any national team managers out there who are involved in the Euros that Chelsea might be looking at? Would make sense as to why they seem to be making no progress; because, of course, they've already agreed the takeover but don't want to announce it until after the Euros are over as he's busy with a national team at the moment. Who does Hiddink manage now?

The mega rich Anzhi.

I don't think any Manager would complain.
Though it's a needless pressure of making players work which he didn't buy.

Jesus Christ lets be honest, if he was signing for us the caf would be exploding, now that he's signing for Chelsea he's a so & so player bla bla they have signed players without even consulting the manager bla bla..

Hazard and Hulk are excellent signings.

What nonsense. Go have a look on the first page of this thread when the rumor was about Hulk to United.

Hazard is a great signing, I think, although obviously we never know.

I don't rate Hulk all that highly and no, I wouldn't explode if he joined us cause I wouldn't want him here. That has nothing to do with him now joining Chelsea.

Some people had doubts about him back when we were linked with him, some still do now... what's wrong with that? There's definitely comparisons to be made between Chelsea signing Hulk and Chelsea signing Drogba, for me... huge amount of money for a player that's not really proven himself beyond Uefa Cup level, and and plenty of questions about the money paid.

Not on the transfer fee obsessed, uber-reticent 'Caf I know, it wouldn't.

He's never been rated that highly on here.

If I was manager it would. It would make me angry....VERY angry, and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Seriously though, how do you think poor Di Matteo feels. These top signings and ZERO credit for not only what he did to get them where they were come the end of last season but also where they are hoping to go with these new faces. Talk about feeling irrelevant.

I'd love to know how these decisions are made. Does Roman just arrive in one morning and shout "Lads, I've been watching Eurosport and I've found us our new centre-forward", or is there some input from football people, sycophantic though they may be?

Hazard will prove a superb signing, not fussed on Hulk but he'll definitely be a hit in the Premier League.

Next season is going to be very interesting.

Hulk will be banned for taking steroids. Besides I cant call him Hulk when he aint green. (Stan Lee wouldnt stand for it.)

Really? Should I feel bad about that then, haven't been rated highly on an internet forum..

What the feck is wrong with you? Your entire point was that he was now suddenly not rated highly on an internet forum. I guess the fact that he was never highly rated on said internet forum is an important piece of information after all, huh?

It was an international match but Hulk didn't impress me one bit against the woeful defending of the US. He was clearly upstaged by fellow forwards Leandro, Pato and Neymar.
