I'm wondering the same. There's something very iffy going on at Monaco. All of their signings so far have been Mendes clients, and the amounts involved have been huge.

Well they cannot denied being linked, they have been linked.
It's probably just the case of their owner not giving much of a feck about who he signs, he's just called Mendes and asked him to bring as many of his clients as possble. When you look at their squad it's so uneven - Falcao, Moutinho, Rodriguez, Carvalho (who's well past it) and a bunch of players who played in Ligue 2 last season.
OK Mrs S, they denied being interested in the first place.
