Good signing it looks all done and dusted now bar an official announcement. We were crying out for a right winger last season and this guy fits the bill very nicely indeed. I think the squad is very near complete now and can't really see where else could do with reinforcement apart from if a top player becomes available such as Pogba or Kante for the midfield but I think Schneiderlin deserves a chance and is a quality player when used correctly.

Defense still needs a bit of work imo. Right defender spot could do with an improvement and at least one more quality CB wouldn't hurt us either.

Woodward has got the jet out, i repeat Woodward has the jet out.
A private jet from Dortmund is landing in Manchester today as Henrikh Mkhitaryan 's transfer to United nears completion.

M.E.N. Sport understands a flight from Dortmund will be arriving at Manchester Airport's private terminal at 3.30pm this afternoon, amid the likelihood Mkhitaryan will soon finalise his move to United.

The Reds upped their offer for the 27-year-old Armenia international and Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke suggested the move would be completed before the end of the week.

He said earlier this week: "Manchester United have substantially improved their offer.

"The situation has changed. There are always several aspects in such a decision. I have already contacted the appropriate people and we will weigh up all the pros and cons. Then the board will make a decision

you just know it's on when Woody pulls out the jet. That's got to be worth updating the thread title.

A double announcement of Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan today would be a great start to the weekend.

Agree. Plus Pogba AND Kante. Is that too much to ask?

 god bless flight tracker - I recently found the boat tracking site and that is even better! Though maybe not for football signings :)

According to Mr. Ostendorp (SportBild) who has been quite well informed regarding BVB recently, the club will hold a (telephone) conference on Saturday to make a decision. Though I expect this is more a mere formality than anything else, since German press seems to be in agreement that this is happening.

So why is Mkhi coming to Manchester today to finalise the deal?

How would I know? Maybe they are doing the medical or if what that guy reported is true Dortmund will green light the transfer early in the day and United might want to immediately announce it.

I'll give it a crack for you. Can he cross is not a question you should be asking cause he's not really a winger, he's an attacking mid. A proper attacking mid, not a playmaking one. He's not going to contribute too much to our pattern of play, or the control of games that we have but he will be trying to win us matches. He's not going to give us much width either, he's going to give us central penetration. He'll be going where the space is, not hanging around the touchline.

He's fast, real fast. With or without the ball, it doesn't actually make too much of a difference. He's these players that glide with the ball at speed(think kaka) especially in transition when There's open spaces. In those situations he'll beat men easily, in some cases more than one at a time. Put him in a static one on one and he's taking us nowhere.

What makes him a great player? His movement in the final third. He's one of the best off the ball movers in the game today(alongside Ronaldo and Hernandez IMO). You'll notice in situations where There's space, he'll be there in a jiffy ready to finish. If There's a gap between the midfielders and defenders, he'll be there in a jiffy ready to carry the ball. He's a very intelligent footballer and without being a remarkable passer, he creates lots of chances cause of that.

His biggest weakness? That's his finishing. Because of how well he moves, he finds himself in great positions lots of times in games and he has a tendency of not scoring as often as he should. His ball striking technique is nothing special and he'll certainly miscue a few. In Klopps season he really struggled to find the net despite numerous opportunities, let's hope he comes with his scoring boots.

How good is he with the ball? He's very good without being amazing. He's not going to do things with the ball that'll leave you flabbergasted(he's no hazard), but he's got good control and loves to turn with the ball. Technically, he's about in the Lallana category.

Hope that answers you question. In a nutshell, he's a very effective double footed attacking mid with pace, football intelligence and phenomenal movement. What has me very excited about this, and something that makes me believe he'll certainly be better than KDB and Ozil next season is that he fits the way Jose plays like a glove. I'm expecting nothing less than Mahrez numbers from him, nothing less.
As good a response as I will get. Thanks for that ! Appreciate it.

Absolutely sick money for a guy with 1 year left on his contract. De Gea was like 15m if we gave him away early, right? We're being ripped off again. I do belive the guy is "all that", but for that money it's just sickening.

Maybe, you're coming down with something? Go see a doctor, first.

Flight tracker has nothing on the blood samples being posted online last summer

I'll leave this here.

And people say he can’t dribble, even his plane did that crazy move right after take-off.

When you're on a 12 hour shift a quick glance at the caf every now and then does cheer me up.

I feel like it is a good use of one of my 3 posts today to marvel at the fact you can click 3D and watch the flight as if you were playing flight simulator

Holy shit, didn't even notice that function. I know my plans for the next hour.

If only we had one camera pointing towards Mkhitaryan sitting and following United players on instagram.
