The way some are overrating Micky you would think we're signing Neymar.

Wonder how long it will take before he's compared to Depay and there will be calls to get rid.
Pretty confident he will be better than Depay.

Kicker tomorrow
- It's a done deal!!!!......£35m will be the final price.....medical next week

- They're also reporting (Dortmund journalist Freddie Röckenhaus has already said the same) that Mourinho/Manchester United were only interested in Ibrahimovic and Pogba but Raiola insisted they buy Mkhitaryan too in order to help them to get Ibrahimovic and Pogba.

100% bullshit.

Let's wait and see. I'm pretty sure no one expected Depay to be that shit, no?
Didn't expect him to be this shit but I dodn't want him in the first place. Henrikh is more talented and has played at a much higher level.

So we use £35m on a player we actually don't want, just to have a chance at Ibra and Pogba. Sounds legit.

Mkhitaryan is on the same level as Sanchez, hazard and De brunye per usual people who have never see him play and the fact he doesn't play in the premier league must make him worse some how.He was the best player in the German league last year bar auba and lewandowski and thats debatable to say the least. We have a gem on are hands people trust me.

As if we would spend 35m just to sign someone on a free transfer.

But how good he was last season doesn't mean much. He can be better then he was last season but on the other hand he can be worse than he was last season. For example, in my opinion Di Maria a season before he joined us was a top top player, one of the best 3 in the world at the time (just bellow two crazy ones) but he didn't translated this form in United jersey because of many reasons (wrong system, wrong playing position, wrong manager, wrong place, wrong time). On the other hand Martial was talented but not great a season before he joined us but he has had a much much better season at United as he had before even if he had to lead a broken attack. So even if Di Maria was way better then Martial a season before they joined us the one who was better could be described as our biggest flop and the worse one could be described in 5 years like a best deal in a long time (both costed similar amout of money...).

What is important that Micki has all the skills to be great player for us and he is a type of player we need on the RW. But it is up to him and our manager how e will turn out.

one of the most ridiculous things I've read on here.

Exactly how does that work?

100% bullshit.

Interesting to hear why he was photographed at BvB v Hertha Berlin along with Rui. Could be that Hummels is telling the truth and he was our number one choice at CB and they were there to see him.

One on a free. One probably not happening, and even if it does, it'll be for potentially a world record fee and insane wages... The suggestion that we are signing this guy to appease Riola is hilarious.

There was another thread on here just yesterday telling us we should do whatever it takes to keep these agents happy, insane.

Spend £30m+ on the Bundesliga's best player, not because he's any good (he's actually crap), in order to spend £100m on the best midfielder in world football (who's actually shit).

Yeah cool story bro.

Hummels was talking about two years ago.

Di maria was quite open about psg being his preference. He never wanted to be a united player, which heavily effected his desire to do well for us. If any of the reports are to be believed micki actually wants to be here, which can only help.

I'm not worried, theres a chance he could flop, but its far lower than it was for di maria or depay.

Aye, the prick gave up the fight after a few months. Then again, LvG gave up forward thinking football at around the same time, probably not a coincidence, heh.

I'd hope we can expect this lad to fight with Smashley, Lingard and co. for his place on the pitch.

I'm still confused as to why people keep calling him the best player in the Bundesliga. Most productive in 2015/16, maybe. Certainly not best.

Goes to show what a shit newspaper kicker have become.

Is this transfer going to drag on and on for weeks or does anyone actually believe we will sign both him and Zlatan before the end of next week?

Zlatan will be done tomorrow, Micky will be done at the start of next week, stop bloody moaning

I believe it. Both have the same agent. No rush to get Micki. Might as well tie up both at once, agent would probably like that as well. Increases his profile as much as anything else.

Based on what I've seen of him, I'd value him at €40-45m with 2-3 yrs on his contract but the amount of time left on a contract should always factor into a deal. Establishing value is impossible without considering this. £40m would be overpaying imo.
Dortmund don't need/want to sell especially since they lost a couple of the important players already.

There's not many options at RW that is good and available currently. Mane just went for 30+m. So either we pay up and get the player or we could make do with what we have for another year and endure another boring season. The wings have been shit for about 4-5 years now.

Yeah I reckon both to be announced at same time. Hopefully in time for Jose starting pre season with both players, maybe a longer rest for Zlatan.

Only saw some Liverpool git that compared him to Mane. On the same page he's on the same level as KdB and Hazard. Okay...
As always the truth is on the middle. He definitely wasn't in De Bruyne's level on KdB last season at Wolfsburg, but he was better than Mane or even Firminho (in his last season at Buli). He also has never played on Hazard's level (not counting the last season when Hazard was very shit). would also say that he has been better than Kagawa on his last season at BVB (first spell).

Comparable with Valencia at his best IMO. So, quite a good player but not someone who can carry the attack of a very top team.
