Gaming FM 24 Experiment: Redcafe FC

Hilarious. Toni Kroos ends his career with a win against Exeter. Harry Tackles ends his last match with Kroos with a goal and two yellows / red card. Football Heritage. Kroos nabbed an assist with a corner and he could have had several in the game from them. They were a constant danger. A comfortable game in the end.

Relegation threatened Chesterfield took a 1-0 lead against Derby in the 82nd minute and held on to give Redcafe FC the title!!! Three in a row for the club and Elstob.

Hang it in the Louvre.

Congrats to my boyhood team. Will we face in the Champo next season or did Palace go up?

Woho! And Tackles didn't get 1 yellow, he went for 2!

(And of course I had that miss one-on-one in the first half)

With the match (and the season) secured he decided to receive his own personal set of applause from the fans on the 90+1 minute :lol:
Matthäus-esque, just without the miraculous comeback.

You've heard of MSN but it's almost time on the grand stage for JHK. That front three is turning into a formidable prospect for defenders and they're now ready to take the Championship by storm and try to reach the promised land of the Premier League. New signing Mara has had a decent season in terms of chipping in goals but Tackles has made sure respect is put on his name with 7 goals for the side, the most in the squad outside of that four.

As said before, the club put in a decent effort in the cups, going to the QF of the EFL Cup and the 4th Round of the FA Cup. With new signings in the summer and boosted finances, they may be able to push it a tad further.

The league was a tale of two halves. They lost 7 games in the league before January but from January to the end of the season they only lost one more game. That propelled them from 6th in the league to 1st. The new signings probably helped with that but Kroos was determined to leave the club and his career on a high. The Solinho void returns.

Average attendance has risen again to 4004. I think in the Championship they'll be selling out at full capacity most games so the stadium may be an area they choose to plunge some finances into. The defence has improved this season in terms of shots against but they still haven't managed to have the most resolute defence in the league as they conceded 44 in comparison to Wednesday and their 37. With the front three on fire they'll always score goals and reached 82 this season which was 12 more than Derby in 2nd who finished with 70.

What better way to celebrate your 40th birthday than with promotion and your 3rd title in a row? Elstob continues his trajectory with another title and two more Manager of the Month awards for the season. He missed out on the top gong once again though as that went to the Exeter manager. He's started to spend a bit of money this summer on signings and appears to have an eye for talent as the loan signings like Mara and Kari came in and provided the squad with good depth for the young talent and chipped in with their fair share of goal contributions. He's continued to make sure that young talent is given a chance and son of Rio, Lorenz Ferdinand, has been promoted to the first team squad and is now 2nd choice keeper, playing 24 (6) Senior games for the side this season. Win percentage dipped a tad again but the strong end of season form indicates he's a manager who can tinker and get the best out of his team when it matters.

Harry Tackles. The season the boy became a man. Get the most yellow cards in the league you say? No, that time has passed. I'm going to get the most red cards in the league. Only 12 yellow cards this season and wasn't enough to beat Tyler Blackett of Rotherham with 15 but Harry decided he would get 3 red cards and top that table instead! Go on son. He had a good season overall, with that long shot stat playing dividends as he racked up 7 goals in the league including a great strike in the final game to secure the title for the club. He wasn't named in the League One TOTY again but I think that probably is impacted by his position as the holding DM and they go with a standard 4-4-2 for the side.

He thinks Toni Kroos is a talented player. No doubt he will be keeping his number and learning German so he can continue improving the other facets of his game. Just don't get onto the subject of politics. You don't want to be Harry Tackles Immigrants.

@hobbers

Hobbers.png

Another good season for the big man. 19 goals in the league and 25 goals in all competitions. 6 assists means that his overall goal contributions were 31 in 47 (7) appearances. He finished runner up in the goalscorer charts, as the winner managed to get 23 in the league but Hobbers did have a few injuries during the season which meant he missed a few league games, plus the addition of Mara to the squad allowed Elstob to rest his star striker and rotate the side when needed. I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been called up more often for the Scottish Youth sides but perhaps that is due to the lower leagues. I think in the Championship the level should be high enough that if he impresses he will be given the International attention he needs.

He also thinks that Toni Kroos is a talented player. :( At least Hobbers is fluent in German!

Another great, but perhaps it could be said underwhelming season due to the very lofty standards that Catman has set for himself and others so far. I'm saying that when he racked up 10 goals and 7 assists in 30 (11) appearances and 18 goals and 13 assists in 42 (13) in all competitions but for the first time ever he's not managed to win the POTS, the Supporters POTS or the average rating or POTM charts! He will be disappointed to break up his streak but he's still putting in excellent performances on the pitch and achieved an average of 7.54 in all competitions. He also won the Welsh Young Player of the Year in 2026 but hasn't been called up at any level for them yet. I think this is due to the silly way the game judges reputation unfortunately.

Media opinion is that his club form merits an International call-up. Watch this space!

@Heine

Heine.png

The dip in Catman can only mean one thing...it's the year of Heine Ken! He finally put it all together and smashed it this season. Topped the average rating charts with 7.58 in the league and the POTM charts with 11. He won the POTY and Supporter's POTY too. 14 goals and 9 assists in 41 (4) in the league and he could have had more as his xG was at 19.32! 31 goal contributions in all contributions to sit level with Hobbers and Catman. He is an Elstob favourite and once again barely missed a game for the side during the season. He hasn't been called up again for the National sides but as with those above, it's only a matter of time before he makes his mark on the International scene.

I think I'll be going for a big signing in midfield to link to those front three, see what stobz thinks

A great season for the young Brazilian and he will be playing PL football at least one season earlier than the Caf crew as Crystal Palace finished as convincing champions. 6 goals and 5 assists for Sol in 38 (4) appearances seems like a good tally but he actually underperformed according to the metrics and should have been pushing the double digit barrier in terms of goals. He did manage to win Supporter's POTY and won YPOTM in August and Feb and POTM in Feb. He was also named in the Championship TOTY with his midfield partner Wharton.

He's a fan of his teammate Dean Henderson and media opinion is that he deserves a place in the Brazil squad due to his club form. Well then!

@TheReligion

Carlos.png

Carlos will be sat wondering whether the big dream of title winning Milan was worth it. Since moving he's done barely anything and in turn, it's difficult to write anything about him! Perhaps like SR Wilder he needs a good loan move to get some development rooted and then he can come back to Milan at a later stage.

He does want to break into the first team though and the media is labelling him as the next Thomas Muller...

@Enigma_87

Wilder.png

A season in which the big winger has perhaps got his career back on track! He had to move country and drop a division but he didn't let it stop him and he managed to get 5 goals and 5 assists with an average rating of 7.11 in 36 appearances for Palermo in Serie B. They finished 7th so there was no promotion party but he's managed to work his way back into the Bulgarian squad after being dropped for the Nations League games. I still don't think he is quite ready for City so it will be interesting to see if they send him on loan again or if a club decides to buy him.

The media believes that he deserves his place in the Bulgaria squad.

@sebsheep

Sheep.png

They all laughed when the pasty ginger midfielder stepped onto the pitch for Scunthorpe but who's laughing now! Seb Sheep is the 2026 European Golden Boy and has had a phenomenal individual season for Milan with 9 goals and 7 assists in 35 games and an average rating of 7.41. He's kept his place in the England side and was named in their Seasonal best Eleven aswell as the AC Milan Overall Best Eleven! Unfortunately they couldn't repeat last years heroics and finished 3rd in the league and were knocked out in the SF of the Coppa Italia. Seb is shortlisted for Serie A POTY so could be in line for another major individual award.

He's a fan of Theo Hernandez.

Justifying my development path I think. I am open to a return to RFC at some point. #Solback

Big daddy @altodevil went big. Solinho is a distant memory. Kroos is the love that came and left too soon. He was frantic trying to think of a player to bring in this summer, unsure if he wanted a top tier midfielder or another old gem that could fire the squad to the PL. He even debated being shrewd and getting a young RB. That wasn't enough. If you are going to lead Redcafe FC to glory, you need to bring in the now and the future.

Enter @sebsheep. He wasn't cheap. The big ginge in the middle becomes one of the most expensive footballers of all time as he signs for the club at a fee of 194m.

Now, due to me not wanting the save to become too easy, I did warn alto that if he decided to sign any of the 'other' players (i.e ones that didn't start at the caf), they wouldn't have a chip while at Redcafe FC, BUT they wouldn't be locked down at the club like the other players. They will be at risk of being lost to another club at any point. So it's a big risk for the chairman to take.

The club are predicted to finish 6th according to the media but if you go onto the other filter it says 2nd, so they are predicted to finish in at least the playoffs and be in contention for promotion.

Training Facilities have been upgraded to 20. The chairman is going all out in an attempt for automatic promotion.

Solinho has stuck with Palace and is now playing in the PL. Carlos is still in Milan but not getting any game time. SR Wilder is back at City and in the U21s.

Seb Sheep on joining Redcafe FC from AC Milan: "I thought I was joining Manchester United. I was mislead by all involved. I wasn't aware there was another Manchester club."

Seb Sheep was given a rapturous reception at the Redcafe arena stadium. More than 4,000 fans applauded the midfielder as he was unveiled as a new caf player. A video with images of all of the 4 successful promotions by the club and another with the greatest moments and goals of the English international was shown as an introduction to the presentation ceremony.

Think I need to have a word with my agent.
We've haemorrhaged the club to bring you in. You've also jacked the wages for everyone else. We've put the faith of the entire county on your shoulders.

In before Harry Tackles breaks his leg in the first training session.

Thats a statement signing. Bringing the golden boy home to England and the championship.

I’m suprised noone has posted: Solinwho?
