FIFA World Cup 2010

I tried this online again, it's still horrendous, and shows up a lot of the flaws still in the game that you don't notice playing crap AI or your mates. Such as the computer selecting a player you don't want for you, your defender suddenly automatically rushing out of defence when you want him to stay back (not holding O), Horrific lag at times, slow reactions from players, etc...
 
Also at random times my team just become incapable of doing anything, I'm surprised they keep standing. Just simple things like 5 yard passes or little layoffs. I knock it to someone, go to play the simple pass and my player just goes HURRR DUURUURRR and knocks it flying to Hong Kong, then rolls around on the floor shitting himself.

1st game won against england 2-0

2nd match i was winning 4-0 vs brazil and he left. so 3-0 it is.

3rd match i won 17-0 against france. he went down to 8 men and started to play around.

4th match against germany i won 4-0 . i havent conceded a single goal so far :drool: ok next one...

5th one i won 1-0 against spain. very hard game that was.

7 games? Is that it? I was under the impression you had to play the qualifying games too.
 
I gave it a week break before I trade it in just to see if it would actualy let me play 15 minutes without freezing for ONCE

But no...off to cex with you you piece of actual shit.

Dont have auto change player turned on. I've experienced no lag in ~10 campaigns either. Stop players automatically running out by controlling them yourself; they get too keen otherwise.

Some things just feck you off and there's nothing you can do, but there are fixes for others.
 
Clash of the Titans ends in Bill Preston two games up, to Uppercunt's one.

It was tight, and the spectacle at times, resembled George Graham's Arsenal playing George Graham's Arsenal, but it was amusing. Late goals, sendings off, and horrendous defensive lapses.

Pretty much no lag on my end, though.

The main problem seems to be that the defenders are so much fecking slower to turn and react than forwards. Unless I'm not doing something I should be, it's literally impossible to defend against someone who knows what they're doing.

Stil like it a lot better than FIFA 10 though, and enjoy the online games more than with PES 10.
 
what i do, is turn automatic switching off
and switch between players manually
as soon as i get the ball, switch between the player i want and run them back towards my own goal! this seems to work good for me.
 
I feel like when i use manual switching, half the time the first time I click doesn't result in me getting control of the guy i want in this game. it's annoying as feck.
 
Traded mine in on Saturday, along with FIFA 10 and picked up Red Dead Redemption

I had enough of the online games, playing against Brazil or Spain. It got fecking boring. Got around 700Gs on the 360, so that's ok I suppose. It's impossible to win the online world cup with a 1/2 star team
 
I can't believe this is still between £35-40. I was hoping it would have come down by now.

Anyone know of anywhere doing it for cheaper?

Agbonlahor definitely is as all the scrotes playing as England have him, along with Lennon, Walcott and Young and just try to beat you for pace all game.

I'm hoping to trade this in tomorrow while I can still get £27 in cash for it.
 
Got this today. Played 1, won 1. I can't believe just how different it feels to Fifa10.
 
At my first attempt at the Online World Cup i'm in the Final (granted with England). I can't find anyone to have a game with though!

Keep retrying, you will find someone.

I beat England 3-0 with France in the Online World Cup final and got NO achievement for it :mad:

I hadn't conceeded a goal until the final.
 
Played my first game as Mexico. Beat Spain 2-0. Javier scored!! :)

Mexico are a very decent team. They'll be my regular team i think.
 
The scenarios are being updated every day with WC 2010 ones.
