F1 2024 Season

starting to wonder just how successful red bull can be if the fia keep closing all their loopholes. doesn’t look like they’re competitive on an even playing field.

Does feel as though F1 can’t have nice things because Red Bull keep finding ways to exploit them.

RedBull have been caught, being naughty again. Prompting a ride height rule change from this weekends GP onwards....

Red Bull admits it's the F1 team at centre of ride height device probe

"....Red Bull has admitted it's the Formula 1 team at the centre of the controversy over a ride-height adjustment device that has prompted FIA action ahead of the United States Grand Prix.

As first reported by Autosport, suspicions were raised over the possibility of a team being able to change the height of the ‘bib’ at the front of the car’s floor between qualifying and the race - which should be prohibited under parc ferme regulations - via a device in the cockpit....."

Media and Liberty: we need to create more drama before the US GP. If they indeed changed it under parke ferme there is obviously a pt but every team has access to the same device and extra scrutiny was already in place in Singapore. Didn't seem to change performance. In fact, RB was faster. Makes me think this has potential to be 4d chess and it's really another team using the same and legitimately benefitting.

Sometimes I wonder if the media had been what it was during the 90s and before had been as intense as it is now what all would have made its way into print. People would probably say Senna, Prost, Schumacher etc all benefited from cheating. If any of the big teams at the time had pulled a Brawn too it would have generated so much drama in today's world.

There were rumours that Hawk Tauh girl will wave chequered flag...... that turned out to be hoax started by a parody account.

South Korea has announced its intention to bring Formula 1 back to the country with a proposed street race in Incheon, near Seoul, by 2026. The country hosted F1 races between 2010 and 2013 at the Yeongam circuit but was removed from the calendar before the hybrid era.
The new plan aligns with Liberty Media's preference for city-based street races, and South Korea’s proposal is seen as a serious effort to rejoin the F1 calendar. With a focus on delivering the urban excitement that modern F1 fans and promoters desire, Incheon could soon host a key race in the sport’s expansion into Asia.

PLEASE no more street races

Ffs fecking street races man. South Korea would be a great and enthusiastic addition of course but why a street circuit again. Never mind. I know. Money. You know things have truly gone beyond acceptable when they drop several of the European tracks in favor of city circuits. Which sounds like is likely to happen as well. London City circuit instead of Silverstone is coming probably.

Another who doesn't want fecking street circuits, most are boring af

South Korea would be a great edition, but why can't we have a normal circuit, or lose one of the cack street circuits if it has to be a street one, and bring back an old school proper circuit

Limit on street tracks is a v good idea.
Agreed a London street race will happen sooner rather than later.
Also agree about the new track surface in parts it looks slippy, Lewis is struggling, car looks very low, but get some rubber on the track and times will tumble.

Gotta give you creative pts for always finding new ways to insert your disdain for Max into yet another unrelated post.
it’s mostly piss-taking. he’s incredibly talented and i don’t think he’s a bad kid, just surrounded by shit people that have done nothing to help him grow as a person.

Prediction was hard for this

I hope we get really competitive racing and Red Bull haven't been able to sort their problems

Would be great going into the last race with something to play for

Perez is like ETH manages to somehow evade the sack. Perez is lucky he brings in so much money or surely they'd have got rid a long time ago. Plus the not wanting to upset Max

Unfortunately neither of the RB lite drivers are really making such an impression they can't turn down putting them in the top team

Fair enough. And yes I don't disagree at all. Too many cooks in the kitchen. He has a very kind and endearing side to him but too often it's negated by association. Would he be at a Merc or AM he d probably be a bit more shielded from criticism bc he wouldn't have one or more of those yoyos following him around.
