It's been a long time since we had a race with genuine racing and not just processions and DRS passes. At this point we can categorically say that ground effect hasn't improved racing at all.
It looks like that hope for 2025 at least having 4 almost equally competitive teams and 7 competitive drivers is dead as well.

Mercedes losing its dominance was great for the sport, but the design of the cars has consistently made the racing worse for the last 15 years or so.
It's a shame because 2022 was the point when the 3 main engines came very close to equalising in performance.

Most knew this during the first season. There was nothing in these regulations that would improve the racing with dirty air still playing a major factor alongside the tyres.
There’s nothing of significance in this race that will suddenly confirm everything that most have been saying for some time.
Correct, the average points per race between the two needs to be greater than 8 realistically.
