True, didn't expect him to get P2 but T1 with everything that surrounds him could be ..well ...interesting. At the very least I expect George to torpedo Lewis and what might result from that is anybody s guess
 
I had Leclerc winning , that’s not happening now.
Think Norris will be hard to beat, but his starts are not good enough .

Read what he said and don’t just read the clickbait headline. He hasn’t said it’s racist. He’s saying that he’s contrasted F1 drivers to rappers, a group that’s majority black, and so he’s stereotyped a group which consists of one race primarily and so immediately anyone who paints a picture of comparison in their mind would likely be doing so with an F1 driver and a black rapper. Hence, a racial element.

There’s plenty of groups who swear. And @hobbers ypu could never prove rappers swear the most of any celebrity group. Comedians swear. Football players swear.

The point is he’s (probably unintentionally) picked a group that’s intrinsically linked to a race which is naive. And that’s Hamilton’s point, if you read what he said properly and not the clickbait headlines.

It’s not going to kill you if you occasionally agree with Hamilton. But maybe, I guess it might.

Yuki probably drops more f-bombs in a bad race than the rest of the drivers combined over the entire race.
 
Max being an absolute hero in this cursing farce. Dealing with it absolutely perfectly by giving nothing in official press conferences but taking time after to talk to the journos anyway.

Although its the correct stance it won't do him any favours pissing off the stewards in terms of them not letting potential bias influence them since they will be pissed off.

But fair fecks to him and to the other drivers also calling it a farce and taking the piss about it.

Not a chance he does that community service, really liked how Hamilton also said he shouldn't do it haha

There's too many average drivers getting a seat and exciting youngsters like Colapinto will probably stay stuck in F2

It's abit of a nothing burger, as the same rear wing as Baku would only have been used in last Vegas.
 
McLaren's rear wing is also a nothing burger because Lando only finished 5th in Spa, messed up in Monza and had the qualy incident in Baku.

So even though it was cheating and gave a relatively big advantage, they didnt fully capitalise.
 
If I was Max, if I get a good start tomorrow I drive my car into turn 1 and park the thing on the inside of turn 1 and watch the chaos. Max doesn’t need to win, he just needs to stop Lando. If Piastri gets a sniff at anything, it’ll be game over for Lando as well.

The gap is too big and McLaren too incompetent for max to have to do anything other than get a solid points finish.

yeah. if it carries on, he’s in real danger of only have mild bias in his favour from the stewards instead of extreme.
 
Trouble is even if Lando wins it doesn't make a significant dent in Maxs lead, needs a couple of dnfs for Max, especially as they will probably work on the car during the break
