Christmas for Arsenal... miss top 4 by a country mile, yet somehow get in to the Super League!
Im a bit glad clubs are finally telling UEFA and FIFA to feck off
All of these cnuts did. It's rich to see Murdoch's Sky Sports clutching their pearls. They created this monster.
So what happens to clubs like Bayern, PSG, and Dortmund that didn't agree to it?
No, because they're under contract. I doubt it says in their contract they must play in certain competitions etc..What about the players? Are they going to destroy their careers in playing international football?
I just don't understand how anyone can think this is a good thing. I feel sick at the thought of this. No, I really do. People are terrified of change for some reason. The game has been crying out for a shakeup, this is going to be fantastic to watch

Have Man city worked hard or have they just won the lottery? This destroys domestic football.Arsenal have a massive pull world wide, of course they're in it. Clubs have worked hard to become big clubs, why should Stoke get the same amount of prize money as United?

The overreactions are hilarious, no one has any clue how this will ultimately impact the PL and yet it’s the end of football .
What's wrong? We can actually afford to sign the players we've been debating over for the best part of this season and we get to play in a better competition. Great newsSomebody ban this fecker...please.
ByeI'm done with this club. Won't be supporting this shit no way.
You feel sick because you're going to get fecking pummeled in it every weekI just don't understand how anyone can think this is a good thing. I feel sick at the thought of this.

The funniest thing of all it's likely Neville's rant that has played a huge part in whipping up this frenzy, a rant he made while on a shift with the wonderfully pure Sky Sports. The overreactions are hilarious, no one has any clue how this will ultimately impact the PL and yet it’s the end of football .
He's entitled to an opinion. Just because you don't agree doesn't make it wrong. Calm your tits.Somebody ban this fecker...please.
This. Anyone of these (skysports, BT) trying to take moral high ground Should feck off.Sky and BT under the Premier Leagues orders charging fans £15 a game during a pandemic and they have the balls to come out and criticise this.
Everybody is in it for the cash, they’re all in on the heist they just don’t like their cut.
Or PSG
Feck oil money
So PSG to win the CL 15 years in a row?
I think he's about 7 years old. Anything else doesn't make sense unless he's Joel Glazers personal arse cleaner.I just don't understand how anyone can think this is a good thing. I feel sick at the thought of this.
This has literally been the case since this morning when it was announced. It's the FA that want to kick us out of domestic football, not United wanting to leave...My initial reaction is one of horror.
But if it is just going to be a mid-week match competition and not going to replace the actual leagues! Then with some co-operation it could possibly be able to work.
Dropping the carabao cup for starters would make some room in the calendar. Trimming the CL group stages down wouldn’t be a disaster either.
The teams involved are trying to grab as much money as they can for sure. Plus some of the details like no relegations make it a joke...
Calling it a Super League is misleading too, i would have just marketed it as a alternative to the CL, or even a competition for the years when an international cup isn’t happening.
Lots of possibilities, but they seem to have gone about it in all the wrong manner.
No, he's right. I'm deeply ashamed of United tonight. The club that took English football into European competition now walks out, in order to establish a new closed shop for the mega rich.Over reaction, no?
Yes indeed. It's rich to see Murdoch's Sky Sports clutching their pearls. They created this monster.
Yeah, that's quite likely, too.Or they want FIFA and UEFA to take some of the blame for being unwilling to move, when they then say they are doing it anyway and leaving their domestic competitions.
Yes and no, this is not the way. fecking over Burnley and co. even more doesn't solve footballs problem, a salary cap, a transfer cap, a wage cap thats what football needed.
Hear hearThis can't be allowed to proceed. There will now be a massive showdown between UEFA and 12/15 breakaway clubs. No way should we allow the Glazers to get us excluded from the Premier League and Champions League.
That was my point...PSG is Oil Money.
The CL hasn’t gone has it? These clubs just won’t be in it.What would be the point of finishing anywhere between 2nd and 17th in the league starting from next season?
