Way too specific to not be based on true events.A bit like escaping a burning building with a foot long dildo hanging from your backside.

It would be a story worth telling.Way too specific to not be based on true events.
I've been saying this consistently, even before Ten Hag was hired. Our team is built for a mid block, adopting anything else will be difficult and will result in a few drubbings at minimum. I get that you want to gloat, but no examples you can give are as tough a job as the United one.
He's actually picked up 20 votes since the end of normal time. Strange folk.
It'd be as meaningless as the time Di Matteo won the champions league, or when Avram Grant was a penalty kick away from winning itIf and it’s a big bold if. We beat City then that is 2 trophies in 2 seasons?
Aye, one can hope he’s replaced by someone who’s had an impact like an Ange at spurs or so. With 3-4 really smart signings to complement their style (& a decent injury free season for the likes of Martinez, Shaw, Mount etc). I know…the back room structure probably won’t be in place in time and there’s a lot of “wishfulness” in there….but yeah, seems we’re in dire straits. It's a shame with Ten Hag as for a couple of months last year it looked like we'd really got it.
Quickly became apparent that it was based on very rare Rashford form, Casemiro having a sensational impact and Martinez and Bruno playing superbly too.
Casemiro seems to have dropped off in a way even the most negative fan couldn't have foreseen, Martinez now has serious doubts he can carry out his aggressive style without missing massive swathes of the season and Rashy has gone back to his bad old days
Meanwhile we have ludicrously put all our eggs in a young kid up front who we don't really know if he enough or not.
Add in a sky high priced Antony who can't get in over Garnacho and Shaw who misses half the season.
Plus Maguire and McTom probably being our best performers when we tried to ship them and it's a real crock of pony.
I see his point but it could be perceived as an embarrassing achievement. A bit like escaping a burning building with a foot long dildo hanging from your backside.
Was just going to post that. He's aging faster than US presidents do.He looks like he's aged tons this year, huge bags under his eyes.
You clearly don't know what that means. I've addressed your point directly, I just called out your lack of good faith discussion while doing so.
This simply isn't true. This squad is a mishmash of Ole/Mou legacy, Murtough signings, a few first choice Ten Hag signings, and freebies and desperation loans. You stopped debating in good faith a while ago, but this is way beyond that.
The bit in bold is a strawman. I've stated directly that this isn't how Ten Hag wants to play, it's a dodgy hybrid because we can't play how he wants yet. If you want to argue with things you've made up, you can do that without replying to me.
Whether he thinks he's getting sacked or not is irrelevant. He was brought in to try to establish a new way of playing, to give up on that would be worse than trying and failing. The former is just as much of a sackable offence as the latter.
Regardless, it’s 3 cup finals in 2 seasons. If he was as shit as some say he is on here, i’m not sure that would have been able to happen.

At least Dalot, Mainoo, Garnacho & to an extent Hojlund means we have something to build on.

He won’t win the final. If he wins the final it would be an embarrassing FA cup medal
It was damaging having SAF and Gill leave at the same time (I think they left at the same time?). Then I’ll say it again, the worst thing to happen to the club (ignoring the Glazers) was Woodward. Clueless on how to run a football club and did more damage to this club than any one other individual IMO.You'd think a club with our money could occasionally get 1 transfer out of 10 working well beyond about 6months. But our record post Fergie has been unbelievable.
It'd be fingers on one hand maximum we could claim as success, and even that would have fierce debate.

Big if indeed. Regardless, it’s 3 cup finals in 2 seasons. If he was as shit as some say he is on here, i’m not sure that would have been able to happen.

Comparable to the Mounrinho heritage quote, probably worse because Jose had a point..
I was expecting something slightly weird after “A bit like..” - but fecking hell
Yep, it’s right there in my post you quoted.Worst thing to happen to the club is the Glazers. But Woodward is runner up
Agreed re all that. At least we’re targeting “football experts in football roles” and none of this incompetent people elevated to roles beyond them. Hopefully it pays off - albeit we will probably need to be a bit patient. We're making the right noises totally revamping the structure, with what we "think" are best in class appointments, rather than Glazer money men ludicrously out of their element.
Also best to avoid the classic error or throwing in old boy players for key roles. They can have a role to play, but should be more ambassador or coaching lower down the age ranges.
Challenge completedThe image needed to be vivid with no room for questioning the embarrassment.
"Best team in the World"
No Utd manager should ever be saying that about City.
Alonso, Amorim, or Zidane. Until any of these guys sign on the dotted line, they're still available and we can probably pay much better than most.

He simply didn't have to say that line, he's already getting his excuses in.He’s stating a fact. What else do you want him to say? He would’ve been shredded if he said United were up there with city when we’re clearly not.
Amorrim manages Sporting, how is he less realistic?Think more Potter and Southgate. That's more realistic.
