Next match should be his last. Sacking is inevitable. Might as well do it and give the team an extra week to prepare for Brentford

All these new record breaking stats week in week out, yet ineos ain't even bothering. Watching us ruin the season so early, fecking act for crying out loud

We may be granted a reprieve from this nightmare soon come...

Even without a battering at Villa, I don't see any angle where he survives this coming international break

Things are even more serious than I ever could have dreamed. Birmingham is a shithole, and no human would go there unless it was absolutely necessary.

Porto had several decent openings before we scored, the 2 goals derailed their momentum but our formation is so poor, gaps everywhere, just pure dog shite

Rashford, maybe lacking defensively, but our one threat in attack, subbed off at half time just for rotation, ETH is fecking loopy

This. Pot shots and blind passes just like its training. Don't think they have any faith in him.
Nope. Disagree. He hasn’t lost the dressing room. At all.

It’s Ten Hags system and lack of any day to day coaching that’s making the players look like utter dogshit.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen RedCafe wanting a manager to be sacked a much as this. Even Old Trafford has gone negative which hasn’t happened that much since Fergie retired.
Wasn't on here for Moyes season but OGS, Jose and LvG never went much beyond roughly half of the forum wanting them gone...and all three were never unanimously popular choices to begin with.

EtH was a popular choice but a special kind of ineptitude has led to unprecedented levels of fans calling for his head

A city plant? Maybe their cheating runs deeper than first thought.

Honestly at this stage I cannot even completely rule out that Pep threw away the cup just to keep EtH at his job. And that Emery will instruct his players to play for a draw to rule us out of top-4 contention this season

People are still voting “back” even since that match

They can't be watching the games, there is nothing in that experience that would have you backing him. It can only be a point of principle against sacking, or stubbornness to stick with an earlier opinion (or trolling by non Utd fans) but Utd have had maybe 5/6 genuinely decent performances out of the last, what, 60/70 games?

I can't believe what I am watching, this isn't professional football as a set up.

Took a while to colour code that! We've conceded 3 or more goals in 19.51% of our games under ETH, we've conceded 2 or more in 37.40%.

. That is all.

If the "best in class" were pleased with that then our future is very, very bleak indeed.
Yeah but you don’t give someone two games to save their job and then fire them anyway. He has at least earned himself a good few weeks here. Even if we lost at Villa he will be allowed to regroup during international break and give it a go against Brentford and others.

I’m traveling for Brentford game (was also at Spurs game) and was deep down hoping I’d be seeing a different manager on the bench but have absolutely zero hope now.

Can anyone explain why he is trying to play football that inevitability leaves massive space to cover while seemingly prioritizing signing players who lack pace, running power and the physicality to make it work?

What the hell? How is it supposed to work? Maybe if he played a possession game and looked to control territory and tempo you could get away with that style of player but he is effectively buying players with an obvious weakness and then asking them to play a style that exaggerates that weakness.

It is abject lunacy, I am watching these games thinking that Ten Hag is some sort of parody manger, playing a long joke that he can't quite understand that his bosses aren't getting. Surely no rational human mind could play this football with this group of players?

Martinez, Dalot, Bruno, Rashford, Eriksen are all lightweights. That entire left hand side this game (Eriksen, Dalot, Martinez, Rashford) had no intensity at all. Is it really surprising that most of their threat came in from crosses in that area? I think having an actual LB + Mainoo back will help a bit here.

TBF Rashford uses his pace to press quite well when he wants to. The problem is he doesn't do it for 90 minutes.

Obviously agree with the broader point you're making.

I clicked on 2 random users and they were both Chelsea fans.

So I think that’s probably it in the main.

You forgot the 7-0.

Edit: realised it was just the 3’s! Jesus wept.

Agreed. On the contrary I think the players are doing all they can for him, but they spend entire games exposed by this system... as they have done for over a year now.

And we are missing the thrashings as well!

Brentford and City in 2022/2023.
7-0.
Copenhagen.

15+ times since the League Cup final. Horrid.

The Golazo show on CBS is absolutely dismantling ETH. Calling him a youth coach with subbing Rashford off, amongst other things. Brilliant to watch as it was the embodiment of many a poster here.
