This is a definite black mark. Losing to City or even Liverpool is one thing. Losing (heavily) to some crap Spanish team is quite another.

We then end up missing 5 definite starters and our captain & most experienced player decide to gift a goal to start this tie. Hard to blame the manager in this
We have improved over the last season, but we are not much (if any) better than in Mourinho’s or Ole’s first two seasons.

looking at the starting lineup from tonight he was forced to go with due to injuries/suspensions/player availability how many of them do we think are actual starters next season? Case for sure. Antony a heavy likely. Eriksen a probable squad player that shouldnt be starting every game. That is literally it. Rest are at best hopeful squad players for next year. No he is not walking on any thin ice except for people without common sense, he had half his team injured and suspended for big chunk of the season. When he brings much more of his players in then he should be judged, not because he is suffering from mistakes of players of Ole reign.
