Posts like this should be bannable offense.
Top managers might get the odd pasting in their first season. But ETH has had a load of them. He isn't up to it. The only positive of his reign has been Martinez. Absolutely no fight in the team. Completely gutless when it matters. A top manager doesn't let that happen.

He is finally finding out the true extent of how badly these players can let you down, as they let down all the managers before him. Nothing will change, you can't turn turds to gold. You can only mask it for a bit.

Ole left behind a complete shit show, he was a disaster for the club. ETH has to gut this squad.

He needs to take blame as well for these performances but we’re light years behind the top sides and away from home are clueless against anyone decent unless we’re parking the bus.

This is a definite black mark. Losing to City or even Liverpool is one thing. Losing (heavily) to some crap Spanish team is quite another.

Have we really improved? Performances like these scare the shit out of me. We struggle against any organised press.

Have to say I'm not impressed with his European record bar that 2019 CL campaign. And it doesn't have to do much with this tie vs Sevilla, more looking at his Ajax days.

His lack of rotation has killed us, I don’t blame him for this performance but I worry about Sunday.

I'm more worried about us fluking a win on Sunday. We're going to get utterly humiliated in the final by City - like another 6-7 scoreline

Don't blame him for today, but he needs to be ruthless in the summer. Allowing mentally weak mediocre players to remain at the club won't get us anywhere.

oh feck off. if you can't tell the difference between Ten Hag and Ole then i suggest you watch a different sport.

We lost 2-1 to them under Ole and missed about 10 good chances.

Tonight we've been absolutely destroyed.

Ole reached the semi final and final too.

Walking on ice ever thinner. Getting completely obliterated by 13th place Sevilla is unacceptable no matter the circumstances. The Glazers staying could be his saving grace and curse at the same time. Still time to salvage the situation if we make Top 4.

You know what? He is gonna do exactly that.

It's a bit concerning how many times we've been absolutely battered this season. When we're shit we're really shit

His lack of faith in Fred is baffling. Eriksen and sabitzer can't run yet started over Fred who has been good this year.

Oh god, the "Ole did better vs Sevilla" crew are in the house! Time to depart this thread for a few days.

The only bad thing about criticizing Ten Hag tonight is the Ole in crew which is even more clownish and stupid than Ronaldo supporters.

You know, we can't talk properly about our current manager because Ole apologists cant stop talking about their idol in this thread. Just let us talk about our current manager please. Your idol failed here, get over it and move on already.

I don’t really blame anyone for being reactionary or emotional with their views tonight. It’s a massive step back. Ten Hag will have to take some of the blame for the tie. You can’t be so open with three midfielders on the pitch.

Jesus some of the posts in this thread . We absolutely destroyed this team in the first leg and but for some terrible luck would have ended the tie. We then end up missing 5 definite starters and our captain & most experienced player decide to gift a goal to start this tie. Hard to blame the manager in this

We have improved over the last season, but we are not much (if any) better than in Mourinho’s or Ole’s first two seasons.

The vultures will be circling this thread now but there are gaps in the squad that really bring us down. We need a new a starting ST, a CB, a CM, a GK at the minimum to remain competitive over a season.

Nah we were shit in first leg too, surrendered the game in 2nd half. We only played good 45 minutes in this entire tie.

looking at the starting lineup from tonight he was forced to go with due to injuries/suspensions/player availability how many of them do we think are actual starters next season? Case for sure. Antony a heavy likely. Eriksen a probable squad player that shouldnt be starting every game. That is literally it. Rest are at best hopeful squad players for next year. Maybeeeee AWB at rb if you squint hard enough. All for a tough sevilla away game that clearly just has our number. This squad needs a huge rebuild but who knows with our ownership shit.

Let's be honest he is not going to be anything special compared to managers we have seen in the prem in their peak years, he's a bracket below that, we shouldn't be getting smashed away this often in one season

Our performances in every away game against decent opposition in the league was hardly inspiration for a result here.

Honeymoon period is well and truly over.

If any of De Gea, Martial and Maguire are here next season and expected to play any football it will cost ETH his job.

It's worrying how he seems to have no understanding of winning important away games against teams that press us.

Seems to just sit there make some subs and keep playing the same style.

We were getting killed first half, why not drop the midfielder deeper, tell the wingers to track the full-backs and see out the half? Saved by an offside then we blow second half in the first 30 seconds. Again, subs players and keeps the same formation.

Needs to be ruthless this summer. Why even try to keep DDG? Pep or Klopp wouldn't have any player that doesn't fit their style, he needs to be ruthless or he's gone this time next year. Happens with every manager

Not sure I would rather watch Brighton roll over in the final. At least we have fluked a few results against City over the years.

No he is not walking on any thin ice except for people without common sense, he had half his team injured and suspended for big chunk of the season. When he brings much more of his players in then he should be judged, not because he is suffering from mistakes of players of Ole reign.

But still marvel at the top redcafe experts do just that.

We were controlling the game and should have scored another . We have given away 5 incredible goals in this tie

ETH has already won a trophy. How many did Ole win?

The Ole apologists are so fecking weird. He was a disaster of a manager.
