He'll be gone by tonight.
Sacked.

Sacked.
Or maybe people can see the issues he had, the circumstances that he walked into and the how bad our management structure has been? Before ETH was signed, we had gone 6 years without any trophy. And people who point out league positions, should see the actual points earned in each season in last 10 years. Some how gas lighted the fanbase to think he is a winner after finishing 8th with a minus goal difference.
Golden Blunder's question was posed to Redcafe posters - and my subsequent comment was about posters/opinions here too. Not INEOS/management
They did and the wording got changed
You know what, people can do objective analysis of the situation.
Both the Bayern and Ajax jobs have already been filledErik to Ajax or Bayern then. Maybe a cheeky look in from Barca.
It was quoted verbatim, Mokbel knew exactly what he was doing.Sami Mokbel writing in a throw-away comment that "Man Utd are set to part with Ten Hag" in an article about Chelsea titled "Chelsea move towards appointing Leicester boss Enzo Maresca as their new manager as talks accelerate, with sources saying Italian is new leading candidate, after one rival for the job got call to tell him he 'hasn't made it". Is in no way the same as Sami Mokbel writing a breaking news piece about how Ten Hag will definitely get sacked - which is what the Aggregator claimed.
They relayed what he said. The phrasing was the problem, not the aggregator. This is why aggregator accounts should be ignored. Reference the actual source.
Yeah Barca are certainly going to backtrack on Flick’s contract because ETH has become available.

So jobless then. In this market? Poor sod.

My bald cap in honour of the man and a Moyes #1 United replica shirt.
Or maybe a professional writer should just have a better understanding of words, dunno.Mokbel wrote a piece about Chelsea, and somehow that becomes a "breaking news" story about Ten Hag? Nonsense.
I assume people who want him to have another season really only means have essentially a probation period for next season.
Because if he does stay we don't need a full season of he continues doing bad. If we let him stay and we are doing bad 1 or 2 months into the season then he should be sacked on the spot.
He chose to include that specific piece of information. Not the aggregators fault that he worded it poorly.Mokbel wrote a piece about Chelsea, and somehow that becomes a "breaking news" story about Ten Hag? Nonsense.
Backtracking nowNor sure it will be communicated tonight FYI
Just know he's gone , decision made.

And then you are bringing in a new manager with no pre season to work the players, and recruiting from a much reduced pool of coaches.

Negative goal difference is a concern, but can be attributed to the squad he had in his disposal for the entirety of the season. You know what, people can do objective analysis of the situation.
If Zebri is the replacement then INEOS are taking a big risk.
I think they ideally will want the key people to have a long term plan (Berrada, Ashworth). Ten Hag might even still be that long term plan, despite what rumours thinks. If Ashworth/Berrada (none of them in the job yet) wants to have a due process before going for a new long term plan, it will be an intermediary plan for the upcoming season. It will depend on who are available and who is likely to hit the ground running, without disturbing the current aspects of the club that are in tune with the long term ideas.INEOS will want a long term plan and not lets give him 10gamwa and see what happens!
Yeah that won’t happen.Chelsea?
City might tell him to sit tight for 12 months and promise him the job.
Had the same goals scored and goals against as Crystal Palace this year, who sacked their manager in February.“Negative goal difference is a concern” is the understatement of the year
Some how gas lighted the fanbase to think he is a winner after finishing 8th with a minus goal difference.
You don’t choose to keep a manager with a view of sacking him 2-3 months later, it just disrupts the team even further and doesn’t give him the right situation to work in anyway. If you keep him it’s because you genuinely believe he’s the man to take you forward. And then you are bringing in a new manager with no pre season to work the players, and recruiting from a much reduced pool of coaches.
That seems to be the way the winds are blowing now anyway, so it won’t be a great surprise to people.Nor sure it will be communicated tonight FYI

In a way they are all low risk too if you don’t decide to persist with them needlessly for too long when things go south and don’t hand them over too much authority on transfers/squad building. Clubs are under no obligation to stick with managers that are not working out.Keeping ETH is a risk too. Unproven at the biggest stage McKenna is a big risk too. Volatile manager Tuchel who finished third with Bayern is a big risk too. Southgate is a big risk too.
I have no other option do I? And its not yet finalised so lets see.The new management structure did exactly that and, prior to the final at least, decided to sack him.
Do you not accept the objective analysis of our new expert management structure?
I'm sure you're right. Just hope the club announce it this week. There is nothing to gain by delaying it.Nor sure it will be communicated tonight FYI

Ten Hag did say Anthony was "unplayable".He is the expert so he sees something in this dud that no one else can. Anthony is the one topic to avoid when defending Ten Hag .It was an unnecessary and criminal waste of money. And no,it was not on Murtough -it was on him.Obviously hobbers on the caf knows far more about football management than ETH
So all the defenders, Maguire, Lindelof, Evans, Varane, Kambwala and even Casemiro just decided amongst themselves to go against the managers instructions and sit deep? This carried on for 60+ games and Ten Hag never said anything about it?
How likely do you think that is mate be honest, who's really fooling themselves here.
