No, he’s just awful. Period. He is beyond fixing. I am also one of those who never bought the hype and always thought he’s shit. Madrid buy him please.

No..... Everyone and their auntie is losing their shit thinking that our players are shit but it's a mentality and form issue. There were shades of them loosening up and getting their confidence but these last 2 games are going to kill that.

Lets see what Amorim can do...... and tbf we don't have the money for wholesale changes so yall need to make your peace with it.
 
I swear he could've had the balls another 100 times on the left with so much space and still managed to not find anyone. If this is going to work, we need someone who could be a thread, like Amad on the right. Otherwise width is pointless.
 
The header he tried to score from like 50 meters out & the attempt at goal near the end really sums him up. Completely brainless player. Should be nothing more than a squad option. Ideally, some mid-table club will pay 25m for him and we'll bite their hands off.
 
He is muck lads.

We need a LWB that's not afraid to be direct oh and isn't brainless when on the ball
 
He plays like somebody on FiFA keeping their finger on the shoot button too long.
 
Would happily sell him. A nothing player who relies mostly on his physical qualities. Should he playing for WH or some club like that.

I’ve never really rated him tbh. He’s had the odd good spell which has fooled people into rating him. Needs to be replaced / 2nd choice.

I genuinely think he expected to be applauded when he headed the ball back to their keeper.

Don’t doubt that. My point is that people often get excited by a blood and thunder spell by players like Dalot or Mctominay before.

He's just not cut out for this level despite whatever shitty award he won last year. A United fullback should not have such a weak technical game or football iq.
 
Bad performance. If not for the Onana howlers, would have been the worst player of the day.
 
He’s been horrendous this season and today was a continuation of that. That being said, he put a few balls in that a proper striker would make a better attempt to be on the end of.

Might have been for the third goal.
 
That boot into row Z from 10 yards out sums him up quite well. Brainless fart.

His ‘tracking back’ I think for the same goal was a joke, if Amorim really wants players to run like mad dogs, Dalot is a chihuahua.
 
He’s been an unmitigated disaster
 
He’s not a wingback, he has utility in certain setups but not in a top side. It seemed pretty clear to me in the first half he’d been asked to stay back while Amad had been given free reign to push forward. Which makes sense given the attributes of each player.

Dalot doesn’t have pace, can’t beat a man, and his crossing is weak. His tired shot in the 90th minute was infuriating and his general decision making is awful. He doesn’t naturally want to make the run in behind, which means he’s receiving the ball wide in to his feet and then having to play it back, achieving nothing. There was a particular moment in the second half where Bruno (I think) was waiting for him to make the run and he didn’t, you could see the frustration. Not on the same wavelength at all. We’d have probably won this game if Shaw had played there instead. Dalot has no place in this system and we desperately need to prioritise an upgrade.

Has he been good under Amorims structure, absolutely not, but the amount of tripe being thrown about here, give your heads a wobble.

Wasn't only a few months ago, he looked like the only decent player under ETH before he was sacked.

AWB is the better player. Not even debatable for me
 
I feel for Dalot. I think he lost all the form he built up last year by being asked to play on the left.

Right now, he is having a terrible time. Would like to see what he could do at right wing back if given a run there.
