Another excellent performance, nothing new to report.
A classic De Gea game through and through.
there's been a keeping mistake in both CL games on both sides, getting nervous for DDG tomorrow
I’m assuming this is a sarcastic post? Every half decent goalkeeper could, they might not make it look as extravagantOnce again the question is begged, which keeper that will be realistically available in the summer can make the save he made from Kounde’s header?
Decent save, but one you'd expect most keepers to make.Once again the question is begged, which keeper that will be realistically available in the summer can make the save he made from Kounde’s header?
Not sure if the stats back it up, but I feel like he always has a mistake in him when playing Spanish teams. Like he is trying too hard to prove himself after latterly being dropped by Spain and initially being criticised for not being Saint Iker.

You seem to think other keepers aren't capable of making any saves."Decent"
Yeah definitely. A few guys are a bit defensive when it comes to De Gea.I agree on this one. If that goes in you're fuming with most keepers TBH

Yeah we do. He's made a decent fist of it this season and has improved slightly on certain aspects. However, we need a lot more from a keeper than he provides. He isn't a natural fit and lacks the courage required.Yep. At first I thought it was an unreal save, but he was pretty much stood right under it.
I like de Gea. Great shot stopper, but we need more than that.

Isn't it funny that GKs don't stand in the same spot for the full 90? Amazing how he was under it in the right spot when it came to the header.
Yeah and he couldn't find a teammate all game long, but he did save one header. He should be a priority to replace the summer.Just seen the highlights again and I can not understand who that pass was aimed for. I think if Barca score there the tie is over
I reckon he saves one of the goals we scored today
Come on man. Then why did he let their first goal in at Nou camp if he could just predict where he should be standing . He was standing in a good position today and the header was close to him . He showed good reflexes to save it . If that chance falls to a United player we are probably saying that the attacker should do better

Yeah that's so fair, I agree with you, lucky save so get rid
I'm the match threadI don't think people want him replaced due to 'one loose pass'

Error on the opening goal this time?Mixed bag. Bernabeau in 2013 was his best or top 3 performances ever. In the miserable game away vs Sevilla, he made a better version of tonight's save from the header.
Villareal final was the nightmare penalty shootout. And Barca 0-3 was a season defining mistake last time, and an error on the opening goal this time.
He was standing right under it because he shifted across from the near post and postioned himself perfectlyYep. At first I thought it was an unreal save, but he was pretty much stood right under it.

Oh yeah agreed. I wouldn't call it an error for most keepers, but de gea would usually save thatMeant the away game , should have got to the header imo
