The One and Only
Dan's wife probably paid the difference after having him under her feet all day for months.
Of course it will impact this summer. He won't have been sat doing nothing.Good stuff! Think it’s too soon for him to impact this summer as such, but in terms of the long term picture I hope we give him time to start moving us in a better direction.
£5 million plus a photo opp with the 96/97 league trophy
Did you watch England yesterday? If Southgate wins the Euros, and EtH is floundering come November...
Did you watch United last season?Did you watch England yesterday?
What has Southgate ever won?Did you watch United last season?
Dan Ashworth's love and admiration. What has Southgate ever won?
Southgate isn't a serious contender for the job.Dan Ashworth's love and admiration.
In the discussed scenario he would have won the Euro. What has Southgate ever won?
There is absolutely no chance England win the EurosIn the discussed scenario he would have won the Euro.
Agreed but in hypothetical discussions sometimes you have to suspend your disbeliefThere is absolutely no chance England win the Euros
Shocker that they've suddenly found an agreement now they aren't desperate to fill a £50m PSR hole.
How big was the hole? Because I think they also sold Anderson & Minteh.
Nobody knows (seen people assuming 45-55M) but seeing as though the two transfers weren't enough they seemed pretty desperate to get this done too.How big was the hole? Because I think they also sold Anderson & Minteh.
Mystery solvedDan's wife probably paid the difference after having him under her feet all day for months.
Yeah I know, they're the players sold for inflated prices to fill that hole.
I actually expect him to hit the ground running and make a difference. Hopefully he was not spending his gardening leave just counting butterflies. He may not have had a chance to coordinate with United much, but he should have at least been preparing to dive in, on a short noticeGreat news. I don't think he'll make much difference to this transfer window, but its important that he's in place before the new season starts winding up again.
Them pretty much shopping Gordon/Isak must mean it was really bad. I'm no expert but I assume that they could face difficulty next year too?
I just hope that he can somehow help us shift players... every fecking summer I've wanted to see that.
Just seen someone pointing out that they probably banked on Guimares release clause getting paid. Think I agree with that.Hopefully. Minteh for £39m is obscene. I wonder what Brighton are getting out of that.

Too late now.If there is any chance, we should pay the money for Isak, he is the best no 9 in the PL in my opinion
They also apparently wanted north of £150m for him so I don’t think there was much chance anyone was paying thatToo late now.
No chance. They quoted Chelsea well over £100M.If there is any chance, we should pay the money for Isak, he is the best no 9 in the PL in my opinion

We didn't have the funds to do it before June 30th.Hes worth it (in my opinion) if we could ship Rashford out for 80+m I would have done this
At a severely reduced capacity, find it hard to believe he will have had a lot of room to work with key stakeholders to really try and get a vision together and a proper strategy going forward. Course he will have done bits and pieces (probably lots of Teams meetings), but think it will have been quite shallow against what we need.Of course it will impact this summer. He won't have been sat doing nothing.
