Copa America 2024 - Argentina Win

This is all nicely lined up for Argentina in the final. Araújo and Bentancur injured, De la Cruz suspended (ref couldn't wait to card him), now Muñoz being an idiot. Expect a couple more out by the end.

Typical Conmebol handbags. Now Colombia need to pull an Uruguay v Brazil for the entire 2nd half. They have a 1 goal cushion and need to play for pens at least.

no....yellow reset for the semifinals

I've enjoyed the Colombians. Very good creating chances from open and set plays. James is a chance creating machine, shame it never quite worked out for him in Europe.

Munoz is such an idiot though. No need to do that ever, even more so while on a yellow. Absolutely mind boggling decision making there.

James deserves the Player of Tournament award even if Colombia go out.

Muñoz was silly, more with a yellow, but Ugarte it's so 1970's haha, what a fella, siempre picante

cool game, lots of rythim, some ocasional dribble, great pases, they need to chill out a bit, too much frenetic at times

PD: the goal has a similar jump and hand on rival like the one from Cuti defending against Chile that some fellas asked for a red, it shows how silly some people can be

Rodrigo looked that was injured by his mate, the moment he was lost James could find more space and time

I didn't accuse Colombians of injuring him. It's all the expected outcome of actual competitive higher intensity games: injuries and accumulated yellows.

For such a frenetic match very few shots on target so far

I didn't imply such thing either, I was just commenting on the bad luck of such action

PD: BTW the whole Cup have been high octane rough matches, I can't remember right now a mild one..maybe the Colombia vs Panama? very few, and I didn't watch the Col vs Panama one , I was guessing because of the result

I didn't understand the subs. Why take off Matías Olivera and leave Guille Varela on the pitch?

This game isn't doing much to change my mind about footballers having questionable IQ.

James there again doing his best to get a yellow intentionally. Absolutely no reason to keep obstructing the referee there.

Rios was playing really good, poor fella

As soon as he came on I told my buddy he was going to collapse in the middle of the pitch within 30 sec. So predictable

It looked like he hyperextended his knee like a lever. He could actually be hurt. If he thought the pain was gk ecsndvhe bound just stand, and then couldn’t walk on it … bad sign

it is such a south american thing to do....it's just how they are and how they play

I have no idea of wtf is happening on the pitch. It’s going to get more insane isn’t it.
