UK leaving EU is the most extreme political action I have witnessed in my life. Relatively speaking, it feels like the pre-step before an 'Ayatollah' moment like in Iran.
I am genuinely scared of European Right wining ideology: Recent history shows us how their beliefs play out.
The human race does not become wiser over the centuries. we read our actions and mistakes every generation. The people who witnessed and know about the 1st and 2nd world wars are all dead. Its all theory now.
Everyone wants and enjoys power. Its in the hands of the far right in the UK. The entire world woke up this morning and shuddered. Make of that what you will..

There is a difference in the Alabama literacy test and a test on the critical issues of the election/referendum.

How about weighting votes in relation to your average remaining life years?
It's a combination of
1. Higher education becoming more expensive and less valuable in terms of a job
2. Mass media increasingly reflecting the priorities of its owners and advertisers
because of which the poor will consistently self-harm in elections. Even so, it's worth pointing out that the strongest divide is by age.
Restricting voting would be a dream for the same forces that have created this mess.
