Come on, as crap as he was you can't blame him for that, how many keepers are stopping a 2v1 like that?
Well that's what I'm saying, he isn't at fault and he can't do much... But he could make it a little harder by not being so flat footed.
Come on, as crap as he was you can't blame him for that, how many keepers are stopping a 2v1 like that?
Nonsense, the ball looped onto the bar. I don't know why we think everything should be saved. There is no way that is on him unless people are looking for mistakesYou really can't blame a keeper for a 2v1 when the big lump at centre half has played everyone onside.
First goal, he should be dealing with easily.
Absolutely right. I was going to say the same but you’ve summed it up much better than I would.I don’t know if it’s a body language thing or I’m judging due to previous errors but you constantly get the feeling that he could do better with the goals conceded.
Today was another one that looked like he could’ve got a hand to the ball.
I think it’s underplayed how much he’s costing us now. So many games are practically golden goal due to the struggles at the other end.

Reminds me of every player that the fans decide they are done with. It's like Fred, the fans took a forensic look at everything wrong and then underplay the things he done right.I don’t know if it’s a body language thing or I’m judging due to previous errors but you constantly get the feeling that he could do better with the goals conceded.

He didn't do anything wrong today, the first goal was not on him and whether he should of tipped it over is questionable. I guessing people forgot the outstanding save to keep us in the game at 0-0....?
Caught under the ball for the first with such awkward footwork and poor positioning. It's incredible how inconsistent he can be.
Whilst I won't blame him for the second goal, I'd want a bit more effort rushing to the first player before he crossed or even the second. It's a 1% or less chance but he always gets caught ball watching rather than closing space. Fundamental issue.
Yep and the shirt was too heavy for him too. Not saying Onana is good enough but let's not look for mistakes that werent there today.....Henderson also made a few outstanding saves.
Disagree. Nothing to do with positioning or footwork. The header looped up and hit the bar, something we have seen a million times, if you you are lucky, your defenders react quicker than their attackers. As said, never the easiest to save shots that don't look like they are going in. Pushes it over, they score from the corner, I'm sure people would have said something about that too?Caught under the ball for the first with such awkward footwork and poor positioning. So we want him to save shots that aren't going in, just in case they hit the bar and they score?I deliberately skipped right to the posting section so as not to be influenced by other posts.
I say that there first goal was his fault, he should have been able to tip the header over the bar.

The second is a gamble and if you see it, he actually gets a hand to it.
You didn't mention the outstanding save at 0-0....I guess that doesn't count?
Yes!So we want him to save shots that aren't going in, just in case they hit the bar and they score?
I think most goalkeepers would have tipped it over to make sure it wasn't going in or hitting the bar. He tried, but didn't get there. That's how I saw it.So we want him to save shots that aren't going in, just in case they hit the bar and they score?
Uh, that’s his job.So we want him to save shots that aren't going in, just in case they hit the bar and they score?
No decent keeper lets that in. It was a "good" save and he pushed it out of danger, full marks. But don't make it out to be anything special. You didn't mention the outstanding save at 0-0....I guess that doesn't count?

Most keepers cover the goal, the rest is a complete lottery. If it isn't tipped over, not sure they are blamed cause it hits the bar and the striker scores.I think most goalkeepers would have tipped it over to make sure it wasn't going in or hitting the bar. If he let's in one like that again he may as well pack his bags.
To save shots that aren't going in? You cover your goal and anything else you hope goes for you.Uh, that’s his job.
