well... I did say we needed a manager either with PL experience, or better still success in one of La Liga, Serie A or Bundesliga. and I've been saying it since Jose

    Maguire, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen off.

    Yoro, Malacia, Collyer, Garnacho on.

Back 3 - Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro. Dalot RWB, Malacia, LWB. Amad, Garnacho, Hojlund up top. Mainoo and Collyer midfield.

Second half objective is to keep score below 6-0.

How the feck didn't VAR pick up that handball on Joelinton??? And why the feck are refs allowed to feck us over with at least 1 decision per match now? I'm not saying refs are the reason we are losing, but they aren't helping
It didn't hit him low enough on the arm to disallow it.

There's also no way that two professional players should be so unathletic at age 32. This should still be peak years.

Terrible behavior from the fans cheering when Zirkzee was taken off.
why? He's strolling about the pitch, giving the ball away very often and playing absolutely dreadfully almost every time we've seen him. He's playing like he doesn't want to be here.

I’d try Amad there. He’s left footed at least. Play Garnacho at RAM. We’d have natural width on both sides then with players who could cross on the run.
I would too but then we would still have to play Dalot on the other side as I don't see Mazraoui as a wing back either. He was much better at centre back.

    Some positives:
we made it to halftime without conceding a 3rd goal
we are matching Newcastle on possession
we are another game closer to us ultimately winning the league title (in 2028).

I don't understand how Maz is giving them so much room on that side. They aren't even having to double up, he's just giving his man 10 yards when we're playing a back 5.

Nah, you're just making lame excuses for your own behavior. I do not like the new manager and did not want him to begin with. I still hope the best for him and that he proves me wrong But I don't believe at him at all. I believe at him less than I did at ETH. You just have a hard time accepting that there are fans who see things differently than yourself. Live with it.
Nah you're just a pathetic poster who deserves to be ridiculed.

Amorim either needed to be in last summer, except they were looking for someone who could get a tune out of the dross they had let ETH buy, when they couldn't find anyone, they just kept ETH and let him buy more dross. Amorim wanted to come in next summer. This club is still run by idiots.
I love that you're complaining about the club letting a manager dictate signings (we'll ignore the fact that is bollocks) and your ideal solution to this is would have been letting a different manager dictate signings.

Yes think like a small minded club. Boy do I love seeing a random fa cup trophy instead of back to competing for titles and European cups. Dumbass
Cheer up, we're definitely not winning the FA Cup this season, so you'll get to celebrate us being knocked out of that in a few weeks.

And Martinez even worse than these two. Dalot also fecking crap. And Maz is having a bad game too.
Martinez has been absolutely shocking as he was the last game but we boo a lad who just arrived into the team. Embarrassing behaviour....

I honestly haven’t seen that. Was more wondering if Martinez was touching it with his hand. Look forward to seeing it again. Guess that says it all, i’m always looking for how VAR could punish us, never save us…
It clearly hits the upper arm around the bicep area. It looks to me like it’s low enough for handball but the commentators Fubo reckon it’s above the t-shirt line so not handball.

    One of reasons, yes. Absolutely.
Our players feel no pressure whatsoever.
. exactly. If Rashy jogged at the bernabeu for months then the whole stadium would go ballistic. If the manager stick to him then white scarfs will come out

Case and Eriksen should come off.. Collyer and Garnacho

Take Dalot off and put Antony.

    Maybe Yoro on for Martinez

feck me.. our options from bench is shocking also

United looks way worse than under Ten Hag tbf. Amorim is struggling big time.

These are EtH players, bought to play his shit system. Anyone half decent got the football coached out of them by him and his cronies. It's gonna take time and a few transfer windows I reckon.

Yeah if it was the other way round they would have looked at it again and again then disallowed it. Not a reason they are losing but it is frustrating.

Watching both goals again Onana should have come out for both balls. Truly appalling defending, of course, but the keeper has to be aware of the danger and be brave.
First one, you are mental. It is a deflected cross (Carragher obviously doesn't mention that in his analysis that loops up perfectly to drop in behind Maguire). How does a keeper anticipate the deflection?

    Maguire, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen off.

    Yoro, Malacia, Collyer, Garnacho on.

And those subs are how we keep the score down? Come on ffs.

I don't understand how Maz is giving them so much room on that side. They aren't even having to double up, he's just giving his man 10 yards when we're playing a back 5.
He's not a wing back. Carragher did some brilliant analysis before the game pointing out that him and Dalot don't understand the role.

I'm sick of managers being blamed continuously when these bums keep doing the same shit.

    New players, ever single position.
They're different bums though. New players, same problems (in fact the new players actually made us significantly worse than the last crop of bums everyone wanted out)

It’s not meant to be a defensive system. We just keep turning the ball over so end up with a back five instead of a back three.

He started 5 genuine defenders and 2 deep lying midfielders. It's 100% a defensive system in that set up.

Getting booed is a shit aspect of football but if you play badly at a big club, it's to be expected. I don't understand why one would feel that sorry for Zirkzee, he's been given many opportunities to show himself and he's been consistently shit
If you have the stones to succeed at Utd you have to be able to take the criticism
    Zirkzee has been wank
It's up to him to step up and turn it around
Sure, the team has been shite
    But zero sympathy for him

    Exactly

Yes because we are losing 0-2 and creating nothing
The team wasn't this bad under ETH this bad.
Amorim needs to put his pride to the side and realize that this system isn't working for this sorry set of cnuts.
For me it's about doing the least damaging system and avoiding relegation at this point

We were terrible under ETH, just very lucky. We gave away 20 shots on average, and our xPts had us in 15th. It was just some luck that we finished 8th and they did not score more. Now it is the opposite, teams score from nearly every chance they get, but the chances have reduced (not this one).

We will avoid relegation. Once we get a little time to train, we will improve. Keep in mind that Amorim has only had one training session since coming here. It has basically been all games since he started.
