    well... I did say we needed a manager either with PL experience, or better still success in one of La Liga, Serie A or Bundesliga. and I've been saying it since Jose
     
    Maguire, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen off.

    Yoro, Malacia, Collyer, Garnacho on.

    Back 3 - Mazraoui, De Ligt, Yoro. Dalot RWB, Malacia, LWB. Amad, Garnacho, Hojlund up top. Mainoo and Collyer midfield.

    Second half objective is to keep score below 6-0.

    It didn't hit him low enough on the arm to disallow it.
     
    There's also no way that two professional players should be so unathletic at age 32. This should still be peak years.

    why? He's strolling about the pitch, giving the ball away very often and playing absolutely dreadfully almost every time we've seen him. He's playing like he doesn't want to be here.

    I would too but then we would still have to play Dalot on the other side as I don't see Mazraoui as a wing back either. He was much better at centre back.

    I don't understand how Maz is giving them so much room on that side. They aren't even having to double up, he's just giving his man 10 yards when we're playing a back 5.

    It clearly hits the upper arm around the bicep area. It looks to me like it’s low enough for handball but the commentators Fubo reckon it’s above the t-shirt line so not handball.

    Yeah if it was the other way round they would have looked at it again and again then disallowed it. Not a reason they are losing but it is frustrating.

    First one, you are mental. It is a deflected cross (Carragher obviously doesn't mention that in his analysis that loops up perfectly to drop in behind Maguire). How does a keeper anticipate the deflection?

    He's not a wing back. Carragher did some brilliant analysis before the game pointing out that him and Dalot don't understand the role.

    We were terrible under ETH, just very lucky. We gave away 20 shots on average, and our xPts had us in 15th. It was just some luck that we finished 8th and they did not score more. Now it is the opposite, teams score from nearly every chance they get, but the chances have reduced (not this one).

    We will avoid relegation. Once we get a little time to train, we will improve. Keep in mind that Amorim has only had one training session since coming here. It has basically been all games since he started.
