Agree. I'm embarrassed as a utd fan as this is the kind of behaviour from Arsenal fans.100%. Zirkzee was bad but the two midfielders behind him were even worse.

We're not exactly spoilt for choice with wing backs.Playing Martinez against these giants and having Eriksen and Casemiro both in CM is criminal I agree. Then he selects that absolute clown Zirkzee. Same with Dalot that joke of a LB. I have much patience for him but his selections have become worrysome.
Getting booed is a shit aspect of football but if you play badly at a big club, it's to be expected. I don't understand why one would feel that sorry for Zirkzee, he's been given many opportunities to show himself and he's been consistently shitThe fans should be grateful that they are being out priced from watching their team life and being fed dross weak in weak out simply to pay these fraud's salary
I honestly haven’t seen that. Was more wondering if Martinez was touching it with his hand. Look forward to seeing it again. Guess that says it all, i’m always looking for how VAR could punish us, never save us…Apart from handball
That was truly terrible, about as bad as it gets.
Very defensive formation yet can't defend.
Zero attacking threat on the pitch, not much going in midfield although after mainoo introduction was a little better. Feel sorry for zirkzee not sure he deserved that, far worse performers out there.
Rashford and garnacho have to come on. Probably for de ligt and either eriksen or casemerio shift maz to rcb and amad to rwb.
Rashford and garnacho in behind Hojlund.
It's certainly not over but whatever happens I don't hold out much hope.
Yeah seeing De Gea turn back clock, and seeing us conceding soft goals with no difference to “play style”, i miss De GeaWatching both goals again Onana should have come out for both balls. Truly appalling defending, of course, but the keeper has to be aware of the danger and be brave.
Am awful 25 minutes or so that probably costs us the game. Feel sorry for Zirkzee but he is just not at the level needed.

Definitely better?Everton and Ipswich are definitely better than us. I'd also say Leicester after watching them vs City.
I mean, it looked that that goal came off Joe Linton's arm
the team Klopp inherited was still better than this Man Utd teamCrowd really starting to turn, it's VERY rare they boo and individual player off. Fair play they've spent their hard earned money on watching most of these, who don't give a shit and earn more than they ever will in a week...
Be interesting to see how Rashy is received
I still don't blame Amorim, he's inherited an absolute mess, I'm hoping this is like Klopp at Liverpool he inherited a bunch of bad signings/players who wanted out. Allow him to be ruthless please.
I'd be open to seeing the kids used once this nasty run is over, he can teach them his set up and they may at least actually care. Can see who's ready as there may be a couple that are close meaning we can prioritise other positions
I know it sounds harsh, but these guys make more in a week than 99% of people make in a year, 2 years, 5 years, etc… to run around and kick a ball. The least they could do is to do it at a respectable level.
So we play a tiring Mainoo and Collyer who's completely unproven and returning from injury?Which should have been the most obvious thing in the world to Amorin. Feck knows what he was expecting to happen.
I would have started him if he was benching Mainoo. Cas/Eriksen is suicide against this midfieldMaybe even Collyer on for Casemiro.
Very naive to say he wants to keep it solid by starting the defenders as WB’s but then play two OAPs in central midfield against 3 of the most skilled energetic midfielders in the league. As soon as he brings Mainoo on we instantly look more solid but the games over alreadyWould be a mistake starting both casemiro and erikson against a league 2 side let alone an in form Newcastle.
Get a grip, this is (supposedly) the elite end of football. Pressure is a privilege and all that. Why blame and whistle a young lad who joined us just this season? What if your young son was playing for United and he gets substituted after 30 minutes and the crowd was cheering and whistling him off the pitch? At least try and put things in perspective. We’re talking about a young lad who right now feels devastated.
We're not exactly spoilt for choice with wing backs.
Yes, don’t you know our sensitive players are too mentally weak to withstand a little booing."Bullying" ? Like really ?
Palace away
Brentford away
Spurs home
Newcastle home
4 generationally bad performances in the space of 9 months. I’ll never forget 2024.
Booing a player who's been here five minutes when there's other players in that squad that have been here for years playing shite for the most part. Doesn't seem really fair to me.Getting booed is a shit aspect of football but if you play badly at a big club, it's to be expected. I don't understand why one would feel that sorry for Zirkzee, he's been given many opportunities to show himself and he's been consistently shit
Agreed. disgrace from the fans that. It wasn't Zirkzee's fault, it was on the manager in this instance. Cheering him off is shocking.Agree. I'm embarrassed as a utd fan as this is the kind of behaviour from Arsenal fans.
United looks way worse than under Ten Hag tbf. Amorim is struggling big time.
We did play better after the substitution. Let's see if we can perform a miracle. Some positives:
we made it to halftime without conceding a 3rd goal
we are matching Newcastle on possession
we are another game closer to us ultimately winning the league title (in 2028).
