    This isn’t looking good is it.

    If Liverpool repeat this will Ratcliffe snap? I’m close to pouring a whisky but it’s a tad early.

    At least these goals were not conceded in the last five minutes, however that’s still to come. I’m in a fecking bad mood.

    It's been a Casemiro disasterclass. The error for the first was bad enough, but the way he laid there after the turnover on the second...

    He's looking like a placeholder out there. As if every ounce of belief has drained out of him. Unbelievable to see such an experienced player fall apart in front of your eyes. Would Collyer be worse?

    To be fair Casemiro's not been the only one who's decision making and passing has been very off. Had we played better passes on turnovers early on things could have been very different.

    Tough second half ahead. Hopefully we score early and make a game of it.

    Almost like saying Rashford singlehandedly got United top four two seasons ago.

    It's a team game and Casemiro is exposed Mainoo / Bruno aren't aiding the progression of the ball from the midfield.

    It's a collective failure.
     
    Ten Hag out, nothing has changed and this is the 3rd season of mediocrity under him. Casemiro is brutal and should have been hooked before half time, poor management not reacting to how bad he’s been from the beginning. Give Collyer a game, couldn’t be any worse than this shambles.

    To be fair Liverpool have pressed well and deserve their lead.

    Long season ahead for United fans.

    Martinez really starting to come under scrutiny, his form has been poor again at the start of the season. His decision making has been so poor, and he is always good for a stupid yellow as well.
     
    Wonder how long SJR is watching the Dutchman wasting his money. I guess he will be gone in fall, when we‘re 15 points off top and crushing out if Europe

    Yeah, just seems like we do things backwards here. ETH seemingly has a plan of how he wants us to play and it almost feels like the players are shoved into positions regardless of whether or not the initial plan is good enough in the first place, and ignoring if the players are able to execute it anyway.

    Our entire front line have had a forgettable first half and have created nothing, for example. It just isn't working. The players don't look comfortable and they don't know what we're doing.
     
    Impressed with Zerky's ability to hit each and every pass into an opponents legs. If you were looking for consistency it doesn't get better than that.
     
    The same old problems. Non existent midfield. How has this not been addressed correctly in so many years (Ugarte maybe who knows). Case performance was one of the worst I've ever seen put in at old Trafford. Plus side de ligt looks decent and once he settles could be a rock for us.

    To be fair for the goal when Casemiro got the ball he bombed forward expected it to be a Utd attack , that is what you want him to do. He gets caught out of position because we gave away the ball so cheaply and quickly.

    Fukking hell. I’m not blaming Onana as you just can’t expect a normal keeper to save either shot, but to ignore how incredible Dave was is disgraceful.

    It’s one of the biggest issues today though. Swap him for Ugarte and we don’t concede them 2 goals. He passes it without looking all the time. He must have a very low successful passing percentage
     
    Casemiro and Mainoo has got to be one of the heaviest midfields in the Premier League. They can't cover the passes they need to, so we are easy to play through. We also don't have any quality up front - too many players that are living on potential or past deeds. Not a great combination to win games.

    A better manager would help, but not to the level we need I would imagine. 2.5 games in, and it's already looking super bleak again.
     
    Everyone can make a big mistake. But to make two similar big mistakes in one half and costing two goals is just crazy. If Casemiro is still playing in the 2nd half, I undertand less than nothing.

    I don't think we would rave about him if he came from our academy. He looks more a W ham level player.

    For large spells we played okay. What can you do about players just being shoddy. The squad is still nowhere near good though for this style of play which is his biggest fault, but fair enough he’s trying to play like a top team.

    Yes, the problem is no Mount. That's been our issue all along. The substandard management and coaching is by the by.
     
    This Liverpool manager has had how long with his team?

    It's just clear, our manager isn't it. Ineos bottled the decision to get rid and we are paying for it.

    How long was Ugarte's medical that we couldn't register him before this game?

    We needed 2 midfielders before Mctomimey was sold and oh a striker to actually score goals

    We bought a false 9 for the false one.

    Mainoo hasn't got the engine for a box to box but look at his positioning when we lose the ball.

    No ball carrier in midfield, no power, no organisation, no plan, and not a feck given

    I honestly think we need to ring up the Saudi League and sell Casemiro for literally 5 mil today. Get his salary off the books and get him out of the team so he can't sabotage us anymore. Id rather just give the minutes to Collyer and see what he has to offer, it literally can't be worse. Get Ugarte bedded and let Collyer/the new kid we just signed fight for backup minutes.

    Honestly we should've seen this coming and brought in Rabiot. I know he's not really a 6 but he can play a dual 8 with Mainoo and provide enough cover and a much better outlet from the back.
     
    Garnacho has looked like a lost rabbit out there himself. Just seems shit scared to take on Robertson and constantly going back.
