It might be sacrilegious to say it around here but I’m not convinced by Mainoo as a centre mid in the premier league. He has talent definitely, but I don’t see him impacting enough games. His lack of athleticism doesn’t help.

Mainoo is being, by design, forced to do everything by himself. Casemiro has offered him no help whatsoever and has been completely immobile. Once we actually use a suitable partner with him, that should help him tremendously.
