Discussion Your Lineup Prediction

  • If the game had been postponed, it would probably have been just our luck for it to have been rearranged for a time where 3 points for Liverpool would mathematically win them the title.

    We need character.
We need leadership on and off the pitch.
    We need strong intellectual performance.
We need some luck with referees.

    Everything we have been missing.

Yeah we're playing Liverpool, at Anfield, with Michael Oliver refereeing. Luck won't be playing any part in this.

If we can't win we should at least make it very hard for them to play their style of football. A few strong tackles and shithousery wouldn't go amiss

I was really hoping this would be called off. I've mostly checked out of the season, but I really didn't want to face these now. The 7:0 was one of the worst days I've had as a supporter of this club and I will remember it for a long time. And it did a lot to make me lose faith in the previous manager.

I can't see anything but a repeat of that, but maybe the conditions can disrupt the usual programme somehow, so it could be a boon. At the very least keep the scoreline... respectable.

In Louisiana they have a dish called a Turducken. A turkey is stuffed with a duck which in turn is stuffed with a chicken. I expect something similar to happen to us today.

The feeling of dread I currently have is that whatever shred of hope we might have, whatever motivation the players might have, Michael Oliver is going to quickly extinguish with the way he manages the game.

The negativtity in this thread on match day is incredible.

    Pool away. LFG!
And that’s down to the players and club. They’ve given us no hope. They make us this negative with awful performances week after week.

Ah I'm sure we'll be fine. United to win.

This fixture would of been made a for a Jose Mourihno “park the bus and disrupt their play” masterclass!

Id take a boring 0-0 today.

I have terrible images of Maguire now for some reason

I am expecting a loss but not the repeat of 7-0 or something. That game was just incredible, everything fell for Liverpool that day. Every fecking ball and call went their way.

To be fair that's what they've had all season somehow

Let it go Pexbo, resign yourself to the fact that we're going to get stuffed harder than @Moriarty's Turducken. Then anything less than 7-0 will be a bonus.

Now that we know the game goes ahead… let’s do this reds!!!! Alls we ask is for you to put in a decent performance and shift. Do not get rolled over

This must be the most negative match thread in the history if the club

The only way from here is up...

Our system could suit us this game. Like against city. If we stop their wide players then they can’t do much. When attacking hopefully they’ll be plenty of spaces for our WBs.

Going to miss out on a wonderful hat trick from Hojlund then.
What I mean is, I'll be watching it but will turn it off when we start getting pumped.

They do surprise once in a while though.
