It was just that every time Liverpool touched the ball anywhere near our goal, the ball would fly into the goal. It was a freak result and normally games like that dont end 7-0. In that sense it was a close game

Todays game could very well end up being a game where a 7-0 result would be more realistic (based on the play) than that game.

For years now I've thought our players would at least always show up for the big games but that belief has drastically been eroded. At least during the Mou and LvG days I thought that no matter how shite we might have been the game before we could still beat anyone regardless. It's been a while since I felt that. May today be the return of at least that.

Midfield of three? I only see two and a half there since Casemiro is about half the player he needs to be. And about a quarter of the player he used to be

What scares me about this Liverpool team is how little possession and chances they need to score. We’ve just seen how easy it is for us to lose while dominating possession and having more chances than the opposition (Forest, Bournemouth). And we’ve seen play them and look generally okay, with a lot of even metrics, and lose the game by 2-3 goals
