    I don't expect anything so won't be too disappointed, expect the scouse to win by minimum 3.

    What are they like
     
    Currently raining at Anfield. The biggest risk will be ice for the fans around the ground.
     
    So why was the Merseyside derby called off if this goes ahead?

    Correct. The hospitals will get their hands full with people coming in. It’s like this every year in Norway when slippery weather.

    I've gone with that, but Mini-Mart instead of Yoro. I'd rather not see Dalot and Maz on the wings, but expect they'll play there.
     
    Looking back at that 7-0 loss a couple of years ago, the maddest thing is it was 0-0 until 42mins!
    One lapse of concentration in defence not marking a run, 1-0 at ht then utterly fell away 2nd half.

    Pretty much this but with Martinez in there, probably instead of Yoro.
    Though the idea of Salah facing him is quite worrying.
    In fact I might go off for a sleep and if I happen not to wake up in time never mind.
     
    Please no Dalot. Just play Mazroui at LWB and Amad at RWB.
     
    Hoping for the best but fearing the worst.
    Hard to see where are goals would come from so need to defend out of our skin.

    That second half was something else. We completely forgot how to play football in that half. It was like somebody had us playing an FPS with mouse and keyboard in the first half, and then a NES controller in the second.

    Be interesting to see if the weather front that's making the snow fall currently here in Ireland will make it's way over there by the time the game kicks off, because it's absolutely chucking it down with snow here.

    Sad how plausible this is.

    Could get nasty.

    But anyone hoping for snow to have the game cancelled or yapping about the 'UK falling apart' are complete cowards.

    Agreed. If Dalot graces our left-hand side against Salah, especially with Maguire or Martinez behind, we may as well cancel the club.

    Everything fails with Dalot on that side. It's failed with Dalot on any side. We have to stop making the same mistakes over and over.

    Think it is supposed to be heavy rain later. Which might also make it a bit treacherous.

    Six shipped in the second half.

    We finished above them in 2023, and won more.
     
    Hoping its too cold for the players to really go for it, so we lose just 1, or 2-0, instead of the cricket score that could happen.
