He should be benched, but with Young injured there's really no one else to come in...

Exactly, we just have to hope he turns up.

Can't wait to see United Again, feels like ages!

Hopefully Martial and DdG can get a win in the bag, although i'm not very optimistic of a win here.

Not listened or watched anything since the last game. Another very difficult game....

Today annoyingly Rooney will play even though he should be no where near the lineup. And so will Michael Carrick probably which whilst I love Carrick, his form has been abit poor so far this season. If Bastian is fit it should be a 3 man midfield of BFS, Herrera and Morgan. With Young injured Memphis will get another game too. Perhaps a chance to silence critics.

Im really worried about todays game and the next against City. If we lose today and to City then you have to say, thats hardly progress from last season is it?. Especially after the time Van Gaal has had now with the squad and the money he is being backed with. Would be a 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards and thats worrying. Hope they prove me wrong. Would love us to literally demolish Everton today. Come on Lads

Play a 3 man midfield. Schneiderlin should start. Either Herrera or Fellaini should be the attacking midfielder. Drop Rooney.

Said it last season, I'll say it this season, I fecking hate these games. Always expecting to draw or lose (post-Fergie). These are tougher than playing at Anfield imo.

Yes. Worse game of the season perhaps.

    Difficult week for lineup predictions.

    I've gone for:

    DDG
    Valencia Smalling Blind Darmian
    Carrick - Schneiderlin
    Mata - Rooney - Memphis
    Martial

    BFS
    Fellaini
    Herrera

Although I'm inclined to swap Herrera out for Pereira

Liverpool usually collapse, Everton play this as their cup final. I think they get more joy out of winning these games than beating Liverpool for some reason. It's the ultimate game-raising fixture -- expect a Naismith hat-trick.

Memphis should be benched as he's not playing well and he's still very young, so it's not a good idea to play him in every single game anyway. It won't ''ruin'' him. We need more defensive work on the wings and his lack of tracking back to help the fullback is not going to help against a team like Everton.

I'm also not sure Mata should be starting this, but we don't have much choice.

    De Gea
    Darmian - Smalling - Blind - Rojo
    Herrera - Schweinsteiger
    Can't decide - Mata - Young
    Martial

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Blind Rojo
    Schneiderin Schweinsteiger
    Mata Herrera Rooney/Pereira
    Martial

Really want a 3 man midfield, Schneiderlin has to play this game. Would like to see Herrera at 10, pushing Rooney out wide and Memphis needs rest.

Wow, I've never witnessed such a defeatist attitude on here yet. Although your record there is abysmal, Everton hardly looked like world beaters in their last game, which was arguably the most important in their whole season. I'm sure LvG will have learned from his mistakes at Goodison last year, and your players have had a long break from club football since the Arsenal defeat. A win for United here certainly isn't beyond the realm of possibilities.

I would be tempted to start Jesse Lingard instead of Memphis. Memphis' productivity in the PL has been underwhelming and expecting him to track Coleman seems unrealistic, given what we've seen so far. Fellaini instead of Rooney. Schneiderlin instead of Carrick, who hasn't impressed this season. Use Herrera as a sub since LVG said he's not fit enough to start. Pereira a sub option as well as Rooney. Hope Martial can win the match for us.

It was against you. They always bottle the derbies then turn up against everybody else.

We'll win or at least get a draw. You heard it here first :P (Not serious, just to point out the negativity, as I know there are lots of us that haven't lost this match yet).

    Predicted:

    De Gea
    Darmian Jones Smalling Blind
    Schneiderlin Schweinsteiger
    Mata Herrera Depay
    Martial

    Subs: Carrick, Rooney, Fellaini

Neve confident about playing at Goodison. Hoping for a sweaty win like Southampton away last year but I think we'll lose.

4-3-3! Should have started with it against Arsenal, should play it today. Line-up prediction will be a shot in the dark.

I have no doubt that some teams, when playing against us, will raise their game.
    Everton will do it today.
Arsenal did it 2 weeks ago (it was their best game of the season. Walcott said that that opening 20 minutes was the best he has ever seen Arsenal play, with him in the side).
So the obvious question is: why don't we ever raise our game? We should've raised our game 2 weeks ago - big stadium, arch-rivals, etc.

Bit unfair tbh, we often raise our game and LvG's record against the top sides shows this, despite the Arsenal result, which, in all honesty, was just one of those things. We were too slow to start and the game was dead within 25mins. They'd have beaten most teams on that day.

This game will be very physical and direct, I also can't see us controlling the possession too much as Everton will press all over the pitch. In theory, it's a game Fellaini would be good for, but going by his performance last season I'm not sure I'd even want him on the bench.

We raised our game towards the end of last season big time. We had a tough fixture list that could have seen us drop out of the top four and we smashed it.

I dont expect us to win,so best case might be a draw but even if we lose,i wouldnt be surprised.
