    He tracks back..but I get what you mean..I think he will hinder us less there creatively. If only we had two Martial's, one on the wing, and another as CF.

    Fullbacks who are fore-mostly defenders would suggest we're aware of that and will be trying to win the game in the middle today.

    Would have preferred Blind to start over one of Rojo or Jones. Two rusty defenders is risky. Happy with the team otherwise. Memphis needed a rest, pity about Young's injury though, he should be in for Rooney otherwise.
     
    Interesting team. Rooney out wide perhaps? If he has to play, well, that's where he does the least damage to our play.
     
    Solid line up, though I'd be worried about Rojo's discipline in this game. The Rooney/Martial positional situation will be interesting. Rooney on the wing will be weird if that's the way it's going to be, I think Marial can do that job better, but we'll wait and see.

    Also, other than Martial, not a lot of pace in that side.
     
    Wow, 4 minutes after the lineup is released and no mention of how people did in the lineup predictions. Is that a new record?

    That's a much better line-up than I expected (probably why I got destroyed in the predictions game) - Blind injured though?

    Surprised to see Jones and Rojo. But understandable considering the pace of the Everton side. Blind could have had a daunting task today.
     
    Rooney will be on the left Herrera in the middle I think.
     
    Good lineup. Surprised about no blind though. Great to see Herrera back. Hopefully Memphis responds well to being benched and shows his quality when he gets on next.

    Love the midfield 3, was dying to see that for a while now.
     
    Good line up. Naismith and Lukaku are big aerial threats. Jones, Smalling and Rojo should deal with them. Not a match for Blind.
     
    It seems like we play Rooney out wide because he will do the least harm out there. Good that van Gaal has noticed his lack of form, granted we have to be playiny him in 100% games but we've done the best we could by sticking him in a position where he won't influence the game to the same extent as he would in the middle.

    Just got back from international duty along with Valencia, so they missed a bit of preparation time.
